preserving truth

Many people have heard the saying the truth will set you free. Even if you are not a believer in Christ you may still believe this to some extent. 

the bible shows us that truth is revealed through the holy spirit. I believe that if you have the spirit of God in your heart, it will give you infinite insight and truth, but I also believe you have to actively seek the truth. This is why I am always optimistic to what seems like crazy ideas or theories. For example the Illuminati, the flat earth theory or the biblical end times happening soon. There are also people in this world that are trying to hide the truth. For instance have you noticed that the media has made the Illuminati sound like some kind of a joke, you may even lose respect for me talking about them because the media has made it seem like conspiracy theories are something to laugh at, but in reality all that “conspiracy theorists ” are doing is actively seeking the truth. Sure it may not be the truth of Christ but most of the time “conspiracy theories ” lead back to Christ in some way. They are honestly the reason that I came back to God after years of backsliding. 

It is made clear in the bible that we are to not hinder people from the truth. It says in Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;     this shows us that there are people who know the truth but choose to keep it from us because of their unrighteousness. It also shows us the severity of suppressing the truth.
