Fire Took There Home

“People have told me it’s going to be OK, and now I’m believing them.”

 After a house fire left Dale Parrish 54, and Penny Parrish 52, homeless, those are some of her first encouraging words. Penny said as she cried about everything she cherished and worked hard for, which is now a total loss. 

 It’s not easy for many people to swallow their pride and ask for help, but it is the help from complete strangers that will help make the Parrish family able to see brighter days. 

The fire that ripped through their trailer house which was located in Manchester, Kentucky; the family had no clothing, money or food. Nothing was insured, all they have is what they had on when they ran out of the home as it was in flames. 

Parrish and her family believe they have no choice but to ask for help. As they have lost everything and both Dale and Penny both being disabled makes it even hard to get the things they need to start rebuilding their lives.  

We are asking that everyone donate $20 dollars to the Parrish Family. It’s not a lot to ask for in today’s, day and age. $20.00 goes a long way @ thrift shops, consignment stores, and The goodwill store.
