David Escaped to the Land of the Philistines

I Samuel 27:1  And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.

David, the anointed-to-be-enthroned King of Israel, David, the hero who slew Goliath, David, the sweet psalmist of Israel, had a period in his life when he had to escape to the land of the Philistines.  The Philistines were the enemies of the Lord.  Goliath, whom David slew, was of the Philistines.  Now David had to escape to live with them.  Why?

Saul, the current king, no longer anointed by the Lord, but not yet entirely removed, was persecuting David.

David was not able to function in the fullness of what God wanted him to do because of the current situation with Saul.  Eventually, Saul died in battle and David came to the full realization of the throne.

Today, there is a bit of a parallel.  We have two groups among Republicans and conservatives.  There are those who recognize that President Trump is the modern-day Cyrus and back him.  They see him as an answer to prayer.  Then there are the never-Trumpers and RINOs.  Like David, Trump is persecuted by the RINOs and never-Trumpers.  President Trump would benefit from the prayers and support of those groups if they would switch.

While the controlled press bashes President Trump daily, there are many things going on behind the scenes that the propaganda press never discusses.  Besides working to improve the economy and deal with illegal immigration, there are other battles President  Trump is fighting.  There is corruption in the CIA and FBI.  The swamp, the Deep State, the globalists, and the controlled media are against him because he is breaking up shadowy power structures that have developed for generations.  These power structures have destroyed nations, initiated and created wars, and caused untold amounts of suffering around the world.

There are people, not necessarily Christians, who do realize this.  It creates a situation where individuals are joining the battle against the globalists regardless of the group label:  Christian, non-Christian, Second Amendment groups, anti-globalists, Libertarians, etc.

If those who are currently never-Trumpers and RINOs want to become relevant in the cultural battle, they need to awaken from slumber and educate themselves.  They need to get on the right side of history.

It is my opinion that the CIA has infiltrated evangelicals to some extent, to sway the discussion and the direction of their initiatives, to keep them focused on lesser “divide and conquer” battles rather than participate in the true battle against the satanic globalists to bring them down and remove them from power.

The cultural battle is more than a clash of cultures.  It is the battle here on earth of the Lord Jesus Christ versus satan.  Who will rule this world?  Yes, Jesus won the battle at the cross, just like He won the battle for salvation, for healing, for the Holy Spirit, for the gifts of the Spirit, for the creation of the church and for all things related to the kingdom of heaven and the undoing of the damage done at the garden.  Nevertheless, we know that just because Jesus won it, it is not automatic.  Each individual must cooperate with God for salvation.  Each person much ask to be born again.  Each must repent.  Nothing is one-sided.  Jesus did it all, but it is God working with man that brings things to fruition.

Rather than get involved in the cultural battle, some churches have tried to become relevant by changing music and changing programs.  However, relevancy in this world today involves battling globalists, ISIS, and abortion.  It involves standing for the traditional definition of marriage and family.

In the Old Testament, the Levites were the priests of the Lord.  But they were divided into two groups.  Some served at the altar.  Others fulfilled the place of dealing with what we would today call administrative, judicial, or legislative functions.

Exodus 18:13 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.
14 And when Moses’ father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?
15 And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to enquire of God:
16 When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.
17 And Moses’ father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good.
18 Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.
19 Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:
20 And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.
21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
22 And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.
23 If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.
24 So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.
25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
26 And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.

We need both.  We need both.  We need priests who serve at the altar. We need to have priests of the Lord who are raised up to become righteous statesmen to lead nations in righteousness.

It is time for the church to become relevant by dealing with the issues of the day:  abortion, homosexuality, globalism, propaganda media, corrupt politics, unConstitutional laws, leftist judges, double-standards and more.  A surface knowledge of the news will not cut it.  Most of the mainstream media are propaganda mouthpieces for the leftist cultural battle and the globalists.  It is necessary to awaken and learn real history that has been hidden by the globalists.  They have created their own version of history, operating as the mouthpiece of the false prophet, so that the people of the United States and other nations could be deceived and controlled.

The day came when David could reign because Saul died in battle.  The persecution was over.   We need an end to those who call themselves conservatives but fight President Trump.  We need RINOs and never-Trumpers to repent and follow the leader which God has so graciously given us, President Donald J. Trump.
