Sleep Well; Here is Why

Regardless of your political leanings, there is no question that this presidency of Donald Trump keeps a lot of people awake at night.  I think a lot of people go to bed at night thinking that during the night, President Trump could very well start a nuclear war with North Korea.  There is some discussion that if South Korea invites North Korea to the Olympics next month that Donald Trump would decide that the US will boycott the Olympics.  I don’t know how you feel about this personally, but think of all the US athletes that have spent their lives training for this world stage.   I think any decision to boycott this Olympics will have consequences for this President and his administration.

In fact, this president has unsettled the world and a lot of people in the US by his policies and his “mental state of mind.”  I don’t want to get into a discussion about his mental health, because some will see him as being unstable and some will see him as being of sound mind.  But here is my thinking and why I sleep at night.  Whatever happens is the way its supposed to be.  Most of us have no influence over the president, even if there are those who choose to encourage him by liking all his Tweets.  This is the way its supposed to be.  And as long as I am alive and living in the US, I know my life won’t be harmed and therefore, I know that if I am safe, so are many others.  This is why I don’t build nuclear bunkers or why I don’t live in an underground self-sustained living quarters.  In fact, I live where I depend on others to make sure my housing is adequate. 

So, if this is the case for myself, this is the case for most of the world.  I have a world view that I don’t think I share with this president.  His concern is for himself and his popularity on Twitter. 
Really.  And as long as he sustains his base, there is about some two thirds of the US that doesn’t share his views or that of his followers.  I am thinking that there are many minds involved in the protection of the US and the world, in spite of ANYTHING this president might do. 

But over all, I lie in bed at night saying to myself that these things must be.  This is the way it’s supposed to be.  It’s not that I don’t have a voice.  I have a voting voice.  And I have my mind that can write here and elsewhere.  But, and this is what is most important to me, these things MUST be BEFORE the Messiah arrives.  Donald Trump, North and South Korea, along with all the major nations of this world both in the East and the West, are all preparing the way for the coming of the Messiah.  God has NOT abandoned this world to the hands of one man.  God has NOT given over His will to that of any president, leader, or dictator.  God is ALWAYS in control regardless of whatever it is we might observe or think.  God will NEVER abandon this world.  There will always be those who strive for Peace and regardless of how small our voices might be, we too prepare the way for the coming of the Messiah.  And in my thinking, He can’t come too soon.  Peace.  I am Brother Ralphie writing for my Angels from The Angels of Life Institute.
