Μὲ τὴν εὐκαιρία τῆς ἁγιοκατατάξεως ἀπὸ τὴν Ἁγία καί Ἱερά Σύνοδο τοῦ Οἰκουμενικοῦ Πατριαρχείου τοῦ Γέροντος Σωφρονίου (1896-1993), σημειώνουμε σειρά ἐκπομπῶν στὴν γαλλικὴ γλῶσσα μὲ θέμα τὴν ζωὴ καὶ τὸ ἔργο τοῦ π. Σωφρονίου, οἱ ὁποῖες μεταδόθηκαν προσφάτως ἀπὸ τὸν κρατικὸ γαλλικὸ ραδιοσταθμὸ France Culture στὸ πλαίσιο τῆς ἐκπομπῆς Orthodoxie, παραγωγὸς τῆς ὁποίας εἶναι ὁ βυζαντινολόγος Ἀλέξης Χρυσοστάλης.

Στὴν ἴδια σειρὰ ἀναφέρουμε καὶ τὴν ἀφιερωμένη στὸν ἅγιο Σιλουανὸ τὸν Ἀθωνίτη (1866-1938) ἐκπομπή, τὸ ἔργο καὶ ἡ διδασκαλία τοῦ ὁποίου ἔγιναν γνωστὰ στὴν Δύσι ἀπὸ τὸν Γέροντα Σωφρόνιο.

Προσκεκλημένος ὅλων αὐτῶν τῶν ἐκπομπῶν ἦταν ὁ Jean-Claude Polet, ὁμότιμος καθηγητὴς τοῦ Πανεπιστημίου τῆς Louvain, γραμματεὺς τοῦ συλλόγου Saint Silouane l’Athonite, καὶ πνευματικὸ τέκνο τοῦ γέροντος Σωφρονίου.
