UFOs in El Paso, Texas: lights in the sky, and craft seen lifting from the ground

From Dateline Zero – It’s been a week since the UFO sightings over New York. I received some great links to other video footage of the UFO event in the comments section (thanks again for that!), and I gotta say that the images are interesting.

I won’t repeat my reasons why I was overall less-than-impressed about the NY sightings, because I did enough of that on last week’s post.

However, the night-time sightings were interesting because they couldn’t be explained away as balloons from a day-time event.

Here’s a pretty clear pic of one of the odder objects at daylight in New York. I wonder if this is one of what was seen glowing over the city at night. The below picture is from an article at Daily Mail (click to enlarge):

That object looks a lot like something seen recently in Australia during the month of September. (Click to enlarge.) The objects look damn identical to me:

2 possible explanations:

1. The object over Australia was a light-show balloon, which is what was suspected at the time. If that’s the case, so were some of the objects over New York.
2. Some of the objects over New York were genuine UFOs, in which case the object seen in Australia in the picture also must have been.

Now it seems that these objects, whatever they are, have moved toward Texas. According to the Daily Mail: “Witnesses in El Paso flooded local police stations and newsrooms with phone calls. Many reported seeing the same sequence of events in the night sky.” Prior to the weekend, though, UFO sightings far stranger than lights in the sky were reported to MUFON.
