Didn’t expect a statement like that from George Soros! Yikes! Sounds like socialism! Run for your lives! The socialists are going to take over.

Here’s a thought. Maybe they’ll teach the Teabaggers to drink coffee. And use Ronald Reagan’s image on dart boards.

What if an idea like that caught on in THIS country? Let’s all of us here share in not just the oil wealth, but the mines as well. Here’s one philosophical viewpoint in support of that idea:

Let’s stipulate, for the purpose of this discussion, that we stole this land from the Indians. Just like pirates, y’know. Pirates had their own code, and their own way of sharing the booty among the crew members. After all, the captain can’t steal things without some help. So let’s cut the crew in for some of the booty. 

The formula they used, I forget where I read this, went like this. The captain gets two dollars. The first mate gets $1.50. Able seamen get $1.00. 

So the captain gets twice as much as a regular crew member. What’s the ratio on Wall Street, or in manufacturing? Something like 35:1 or even higher. 

So since we all, beginning with the original colonists [invaders, the Indians would call us] took part in stealing the land, then we all should have a share in the wealth of the land. Sounds fair to me.

What this would do would make every resident of the US a stakeholder in the country, and have a compelling reason to defend it, to nurture it, and to keep it clean and run by a competent government.

I’ll get some flak from the Teabaggers and the residents of Glen Beckistan, but that doesn’t affect me. Usually when I read their stuff, in the back of my mind I’m wondering just how much drooling accompanies their crazy talk.

What do you reckon happened to George Soros, that he would say such a thing? Replaced with an exact replica by an invasion of the body snatchers? And you thought that was just a movie!

Maybe he’s already ahead of us and achieved Carl Calleman’s Unity Consciousness and it’s not October yet?

And what about the Indians whose land we stole? I say, let’s cut them in on the deal, too, as a way of saying thank you for holding this place until we could get here. For the Teabaggers, how about this for a deal?

Half their share now, the other half after successful rehabilitation.
