In addition to handling the Obama administration’s diplomatic responsibilities, the State Department is also working on debunking conspiracy theories. On its suspended website (America.gov), the agency provides a section called: “Conspiracy Theories and Misinformation.” It’s pretty clear where the State Department stands on the subject, with the front-page declaration: “Conspiracy theories exist in the realm of myth, where imaginations run wild, fears trump facts and evidence is ignored.”

The State Department Site is divided into nine categories: September 11, Health, Military, Outer Space, Economics, U.S. Domestic, U.S. and Islam, Latin America and Others.

Although most of the conspiracy theories covered are farfetched, some have many advocates, in particular those relating to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2011. The site, which is no longer being updated, contends that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone when he shot President John F. Kennedy.

The only real conspiracy theory is that the US “government” is a legitimate body.

This organisation is guilty of illegal aggressive wars, occupations, collective punishment, kidnapping, secret prisons, torture, murder, rape, theft and too many other crimes and war crimes to count.

They need to be tried in court.
