What is the Doomsday Seed Vault?

The doomsday vault or the ‘Svalbard Arctic Seed Depository’ as it is formally known is a seed bank facility which is located underground in a mountain on a remote island in the Svalbard archipelago, halfway between mainland Norway and the North Pole.

The vault stores duplicates of local seed banks all over the world, insuring against seed loss in the event of a local or global catastrophe, with its location where it is and the facility being housed underground its one of the most secure places in the world to hold these seeds

Here is the description on the official Global Crop Diversity trust (GCDT) website

Permanent protection for the world’s food crops The purpose of the Vault is to store duplicates (‘back ups’) of all seed samples from the world’s crop collections. Permafrost and thick rock ensure that, even in the case of a power outage, the seed samples will remain frozen. The Vault can therefore be considered the ultimate insurance policy for the world’s food supply. It will secure, for centuries, millions of seeds representing every important crop variety available in the world today.

The operation costs which includes seed transportation and the actual construction of the site has been funded by the likes of Bill Gates, the Rockefeller Foundation, Monsanto Corporation, Syngenta Foundation and the Government of Norway.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have given the ‘Global Crop Diversity trust’ (GCDT) approximately $30 million to fund the project. Gates has given $750,000 to CGIAR centres to pack and ship the seeds to Seed vault, it is also interesting to point out the CGIAR is administered by the World Bank.

The seed vault can protect around 4.5 million samples in its caverns; these caverns are protected by airlocks leading from the tunnel shaft to the tunnel entrance

The actual cost of getting a seed sample to the seed vault in Svalbard is estimated to be around $1, so with very simple math you can see that the cost of placing a duplicate of every unique sample collected to date into the vault to be around $4 Million.

Now you’ve ‘gotta be asking yourself why are the powers to be (TPTB) building this “Doomsday Seed Vault” now, and why are they in such a hurry and throwing vast amounts of money into it?

What do they know that we don’t?….

Also it’s not just the seed vault that is being built; many nations including the US are building their own exclusive underground bunkers for the safety of the nation’s leaders and the wealthy.

How do we “the average Joe” get a pass to one of these underground bunkers in the event that something cartographic happens? I hear you ask

Well I’m afraid the simple answer is that we have no chance, unless you attend the male nudist events at the bohemian grove and/or rub shoulders with the elite.
