New Study Reveals Climate Change Is Good For Polar Bears And Other Mammals Inhabiting Arctic And Subarctic Ecosystems

A new study published in PLOS ONE has revealed that contrary to popular belief, climate change is actually good for Polar Bears and other species inhabiting Arctic and subarctic ecosystems.

In consideration of the predicted effects of climate change up-to the year 2080, it was discovered that of the 61 mammal species examined, the populations of 43 of the examined mammal species (Including Polar Bears) would increase substantially.

The focus of the study titled Future Climate Change Will Favour Non-Specialist Mammals in the (Sub) Arctics was centered on mammals from sub-arctic Europe and the surrounding areas. The researcher’s also included an additional zone of approximately 1000 km south of the study site. Considering that many species are expected to shift or expand their geographic ranges to higher latitudes because of climate change, 61 mammal species were selected for the study.

Astonishingly, the researchers discovered that climate change will actually ameliorate (improve) the future environmental conditions for most of the species examined.

In fact, the researchers also discovered thateven in the worst-case scenario, it is predicted that of the 61 mammal species examined, only one may become extinct.

Other recent studies also complement the findings of this research. Earlier this month, theCenter for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change exposed the fact that the impactof Global Warming (Climate Change) on Earths natural resources is much less than predicted and is in fact responsible for improving plant growth and development.

In its essence, what this study ultimately highlights is the fact that warmer and wetter conditions favour many species and that Climate Change alarmists have neglected to mention how a warmer planet could benefit a wide-range of species.

However, the researchers do acknowledge that alterations in landscapes and ecosystems caused by human socioeconomic activities and pressures from other species due to their expansions may impact species distribution and migration. It is thus uncertain if the 61 mammal species will be able to reach the areas that the researchers expect them to go to meet their climatic requirements in the future.

Also, Species that are not predicted to move from their current environment, such as the (Siberian flying squirrel), are particularly vulnerable to future climate change.

Therefore, even if man-made climate change is real, the mass loss of life as predicted by the Globalists, Government and Climate Change Propagandists will most likely not occur.
