Although the source – who is well-informed about North Korean affairs according to South Korean media reports – did not reveal the exact timing of the incident or who was behind the attack, he said the move appeared to be related to the recent fall and rise of a powerful general, Kim Yong-chol. “It appeared that disgruntled people inside the North moved before the time of the demotion of Kim Yong-chol,” the source said.

Known as one of the closest associates of the young North Korean leader, General Kim appeared on television last week to say that Pyongyang could “cancel the 1953 armistice agreement” that halted the fighting in the Korean War, potentially sparking war with the South. The source said an internal power struggle took place last year at the Reconnaissance General Bureau, which was run by General Kim and oversees South Korean operations.

The power struggle even involved an exchange of gunfire, the source said, and it is believed those involved were also behind the attempt on the Dear Leader’s life. “The people who were purged after the gunfight could be related to the assassination attempt,” the source said. South Korean intelligence authorities now believe the latest moves by Kim Jong-un to ratchet up tensions through a series of war threats are linked to the incident, which reportedly took place last year.

blah..blah…blah,…..People just speak their mind, without researching the history of Korean peninsula.

Did you know that America invaded the Korea in 1888 an part of colonization program with the largest army ever to set foot outside of America?. American army killed 1000′s and had to retreat due to increasing resistance from Korean military. That was 1888. Ofcourse, the main stream media and history books have conveniently deleted these facts.

Did you know Korea was divided preciously due to American interference.

Every Korean opposed the idea of division, so Americans started the civil war with the Phony Russians and the classic democracy vs communism charade to conquer a land.

American troops killed 30% of Korean population during the korean war. During ww2 the loss suffered by UK was 0.86 % and for germany 1% of the population. North Korea was the place for resistance from American invsaion of Korea. They bombed every place out in NK.

You never heard about the massacre in Jeju Island, where the people protesting against the occupation of American troops in Korea, were butchered by the 1000s.

North Korea has every freaking reason to be prepared for what has America done to them in the past. They damm will be armed to the teeth for America was never kind to the koreans.
