Dark Matter Research Shows There Could Be Parallel 'Dark' Universe Coexisting With Our Own

Our entire universe may exist alongside another universe composed of dark matter, complete with an alternate Milky Way, physicists have suggested.
“There could be a mirror world where interesting things are going on,” said dark matter researcher James Bullock of the University of California-Irvine. “It means nature is much richer than we would otherwise know.”
The idea of dark matter was first proposed to explain the fact that based on observations of stellar bodies, the universe should contain five times as much matter as has ever been observed. Yet scientists have been unable to detect any sign of this matter beyond nor its gravitational effects. It remains essentially invisible, and other than through gravity it does not appear to interact with normal matter in any way.
WIMPs and positrons
Physicists have postulated that dark matter is composed of a previously unknown type of particle called a weakly interacting massive particle (WIMP). Current theories suggest that when WIMPs collide, they transform from dark matter into ordinary matter, including electrons and positrons. This process would, in some cases, create more positrons than electrons – in contrast with most observed physical processes, which create equal numbers

Look. Enough already. Too much, in fact. The theory of gravity being the adhesive for the universe is dead. DEAD ! One more time ? D-E-A-D !!
The reason why Steven, bless his tiny shrivelled dark heart, proposed Dark Matter, which, like the Emperor’s New Clothes, is invisible, is because gravity cannot explain how a galaxy, for example, sticks together in its cartwheel shape. Or any other shape. Gravity Is Very Weak ! Its force declines according to the inverse square law, ie, increase the distance between two objects by 1000, and gravity is only one millionth as strong. Invisible Dark Matter can also be written as “non-existent Dark Matter”. Also non-existent dark energy, non-existent black holes, non-existent neutron stars, non-existent pulsars, ( as currently characterized as spinning objects, anyway ) etc, etc.
So what’s left?
The electromagnetic force was discovered generations after Isaac Newton. He knew nothing, nothing whatsoever, about it. But he got in first with a greengrocer’s ideas about gravity, and so why allow new facts to get in the way of an old theory? Mainly because the old theory, as we see it today, is entirely bankrupt and decrepit, and utterly reliant on a range of prosthetic devices to keep it hobbling along. Much as Steven Hawking is, in fact.
EM declines not according to the inverse square law, but according to the inverse of distance.
