Rich has been a member of the Dallas Police Department for 26 years. After five years in patrol as a Field Training Officer, he was assigned to Special Operations. It was here that he worked in the Narcotics Division as an undercover detective for three years before being selected to serve on the Dallas SWAT Team. As a member of the SWAT Team for over 16 years, Rich was an Entry Team Leader where he planned and conducted hazardous warrants, hostage rescues, barricaded persons operations. He is a TCLEOSE (Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education) Firearms Instructor and instructs in both Carbine and Pistol, Specialty Impact Munitions (SIMS), Distraction Devices, Chemical Agents and Personal Security Detail (PSD). Rich is currently assigned to the Dallas Police Departments Criminal Intelligence-Dignitary Protection Unit.
Emberlin is somewhat of a celeb, and he did, or does a reality tv show. Here is a tribute to him (puke)
It appears to me that Emberlin was the guy holding the strange device at the Boston Event
Hair shorter, but same hair line, nose, facial features. I made a comparison. You decide.
You can see, the guy looks different in the two pics, but is the same guy with sunglasses on head, and holding something in right hand. Notice how Emberlin fits both profiles.
