Reports include connex trailers and tanks being moved along I-95 (between Bangor & Portland), and UN equipment being moved VIA shut down railways.
There are some reports of local Militias mobilizing. Some reports are coming in from several sources that indicate 10 UN tanks were being stored at Belfast and have since disappeared overnight.
I have been up half the night trying to get more information on this, I have used many contacts trying to verify this and at present, 8:37 am Monday morning, I am no closer to verifying this or being able to say that this was a case of mistaken identity of our own military vehicles. I have received information that there have been sightings of military vehicle movement in several places in Maine over this weekend but no photos were taken. some have stated they were afraid to take pictures of what they had seen or were unable to get pictures taken, One report to me had The 11Th Maine CST (civilian support team – a specialized military Hazmat/WMD response team), on a training exercise this weekend but this in unconfirmed at present. It was reported that they operate in black military style vehicles. I will continue to try to gather more information on this and relay any and all information I receive here for all to see.
I work in South Portland and I can confirm the movements of armored vehicles in new forest green along I-95 over the last six months. I can also confirm that the South Portland ANG base (just off 295 on Westbrook St.) has substantially more armored vehicles than previous Google Earth pictures show. Two weeks ago I noticed they had erected two very large tents at the base. Could easily hide a few tanks in them. This base also has the single, lone tan 10′ shipping container that others report. It is on the west side of the base buildings sitting all by its self. It is not in a staging area. I will go take a look this afternoon and report back. I will also check the giant abandoned rail yard in South Portland.
I live in Maine, I have talked to a friend of mine in Bangor who sais he has seen nothing abnormal, I myself drive from Auburn to South Portland everyday to go to work and have not seen anything out of the ordinary, just the usual National Guard vehicles on the move, we have a large engineering unit (133rd) in Maine, and other NG outfits. Regarding the UN in Maine and local militias mobilizing :
Its a bit of a long read – but please read through it.
Yesterday evening we had multiple sources come forward to us about this issue. Each of them had stories that lined up with other stories, and all of them seems to not have any kinds of ties to each other.
I normally go out of my way to verify anything before I post it, that goes for both the Facebook page and our homepage http://www.secureourfreedom.net
With that being said, I felt comfortable posting “unconfirmed reports” (as it was stated in the first line of my article) about this. If it were one person coming forward with this, I would have just brushed it off…however that was not the case.
After the article was posted, it instantly went viral. Its appearing on other news sites around the internet, other Facebook groups, personal Facebook pages, etc.
How several people came forward with the same information that have no apparent ties to each other is beyond me. We have had local ME members of SOF scout the areas in question and they returned empty handed. None of the sources from last night were able to provide any type of proof of their claims either.
My main objective behind the article posted was to probe for information. We have limited resources so it was a reach out to you guys to help confirm or deny these claims.
After 20 hours of research, scouting, talking to people, getting in contact with local law enforcement, contacting militias, etc….we have come to the conclusion that the claims were unfounded and untrue.
To the members of the multiple militias in Maine, I apologize for any heart attacks I may have given you guys. You are a very important part of keeping our freedoms and liberties. For that, I’m very grateful…
In the future, if I ever post an article that said “unconfirmed” – it is just that….unconfrimed. Meaning that it is not proven to be true yet and any information that you can provide will help prove or disprove it.

Something is just not adding up on this whole thing, Just seems kind of strange that people would be making stuff up on such a serious event. It makes me wonder if some Gov. Psy Op is being employed here to cause a panic with the patriot movement to discredit it, maybe they were hoping to get some sort of Violent Response from the militias or some loose cannon that is tied to them. It just does not make any sense to me at all.

Jeez, when I were a lad, the way we kept track of what the NG was up to was by being a member, and going to drill one weekend a month and 2 weeks in Summer. Any competent militia leadership MUST have allies and contacts in the local reserve and NG units to have any credibility at all. Wouldn’t trust a militia leader with “no inside contacts”. Not in 1982, not now.

We do have National Guard troops in Maine, as does every other state. Those troops sometimes transport vehicles from Bangor to Augusta for routine maintenance, usually in “convoys” of 5-10 vehicles. I don’t know how an individual would confuse a national guard vehicle for a UN vehicle, unless they are completely uniformed or loony.

I would not dismiss this too easily. Yesterday people in NH saw and photographed Armored vehicles in Nashua and can’t get an answer from the cops about why they were there.. the men were in full helmeted garb as well.
