Google: Big Brother’s Even Bigger Brother – Must Read

Did you know that Google is more powerful than the NSA will ever be? This originally started out as one of my “Food For Thought” posts that I write from time to time on Facebook. Which reminds me… you should add me on Facebook if you like to engage in the interesting discussions that take place there (religion, politics, conspiracy, social issues, funny stuff, etc.). I actually interact with people on almost a daily basis… along with King Wells, Rob Skiba, and Doug Van Dorn (add them too).

It’s time that we really start paying attention to how much access we are giving internet services into our lives. Those of us the consider ourselves awake or aware are so quick to check the little box that says we agree to the terms of service without actually reading them.

Google has gone on record to say that they co-operate with authorities. That means if you’re using Chrome, authorites don’t need a warrant. They can just get all of your browsing info from Google. Do you use an Android phone? They don’t need a warrant for your phone records because they can get it from Google. I’m going to get into several more things that Google has access to in a moment, but first…

Imagine if you will… if there was one company that…

1. Has access to all of your emails (gmail)
2. Knows what videos you like to watch (YouTube)
3. Had access to your bank info (Google Wallet/Google Adsense)
4. Knew what you like to search for (Google)
5. Knew every site you went to and how much time you spent on each one (Chrome)
