PLOT >> 4: SpaceX has already leased this stretch of about 56.5 acres as their primary place of release, and bought about 27 acres. This is adjacent to the eastern boundary of State Highway 4, it is south of the Brazos State Park, about 18 miles east of Brownsville, and about 3 miles north of the US-Mexico border in the Texas Gulf Coast.

The full launch site of about 19 acres within the perimeter fence nine hectares of which contain the launch site and related improvements. The rest of the property will remain open space.
