DUPED AGAIN...

In Colorado the Denver Post announced that the Public School Board has decided on implementing the SAT vs the ACT  testing for collge addmission effective immediately.

Not a Big Deal?

The public was notified of this change during one of the busiest times of the year, right before  the Christmas Holidays!

Timing is everything, slipping this change under the radar.

ONCE AGAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION IS GIVEN TO THE PUBLIC AFTER HOURS , OR AT THE END OF THE WEEK WHEN THE PUBLIC CANNOT IMMEDIATELY COMMENT ON IT!

The parents and students were Not Notified of this change. All parents have e-mail account notifications that are constantly being used by the school to communicate. 

I have received several e-mails during the holdiays but not one mentioning this change. WHY?

Students have not been informed by e-mail either. WHY?

Lack of accountability and transparency!

Why is this such a big deal?…

ACT prep courses. Parents do pay for these and were offered by the schools as well as the retail and private education tutoring, which can be very costly.

ACT study material. Those less affluent have purchased ACT books and Testing Material.

Students as well have elected either the ACT or SAT or both dependent upon their strengths and weaknesses. They are required to pay for these tests as well.

WHY WERE WE NOT INFORMED IN ADVANCE THAT THIS CHANGE WAS EVEN UNDER CONSIDERSTION???

WHY WAS THERE NO SOLICITATION FOR PUBLIC INPUT???

WHO STANDS TO PROFIT???
