Brains Plus Drugs Equal Zombies (Video)

I was watching YouTube yesterday (like every other day) and saw something that should have shocked me. I saw crazy people high on something biting people, taking off their clothes and running naked in the streets, and also rolling down the middle of the highway.

Of course seeing this I needed more information. The new “thang” on the streets is “Bath Salts”. I researched to find that “Bath Salts” is another name for Synthetic cathinones.  This drug, more commonly known as “bath salts,” are synthetic (human-made) drugs chemically related to cathinone, a stimulant found in the khat plant. Khat is a shrub grown in East Africa and southern Arabia, and people sometimes chew its leaves for their mild stimulant effects. Synthetic variants of cathinone can be much stronger than the natural product and, in some cases, very dangerous (Baumann, 2014).

Synthetic cathinones are included in a group of drugs that concern public health officials called “new psychoactive substances” (NPS). NPS are unregulated psychoactive (mind-altering) substances that have become newly available on the market and are intended to copy the effects of illegal drugs. Some of these substances may have been around for years but have reentered the market in altered chemical forms or due to renewed popularity.  Follow the link below to see where I got this information from:

This could be the beginning stage of what most people know as zombies. The side effects of this drug look very similar to what most people think of when they watch “The Walking Dead”. (For those who live in a hole, “The Walking Dead” is a very popular TV show on the A& E channel). When people take this drug they get paranoid and nervous, as well as suffering hallucinations (hearing and seeing things that are not there).

The purpose for the drug user to first begin taking this drug was to bring feelings of joy, to increase social interaction and to stimulate the sex drive.  This makes it seem very much like Ecstasy or “E”, another popular drug, and has some similar side effects. Here is the information I looked up about Ecstasy.

Ecstasy is often called “the love pill” because it heightens perceptions of colors, sounds and supposedly amplifies sensations when one touches or caresses another, particularly during sex.

But Ecstasy often contains hallucinogens, which are drugs that act on the mind and cause people to see or feel things that are not really there. Hallucinogens can throw a person into a scary or sad experience from the past, where he or she gets stuck without even realizing it.

The image of Ecstasy as a “love pill” is one of the many lies that are spread about the drug. Ecstasy is emotionally damaging and users often suffer depression, confusion, severe anxiety, paranoia1 and exhibit psychotic behavior along with other psychological problems.

The information above was obtained from:

http://www.drugfreeworld.org/drugfacts/ecstasy/imaginary-love-pill.html

These two drugs may sound similar but “Bath Salts” is much worse. Not that either drug should be taken. It messes with your mind and if you were having issues before hand, these two drugs will definably make these issues seem worse.

But “Bath Salts” will also affect dopamine levels that control reward and movement, making you feel deliriously happy. It is a psychoactive recreational drug with stimulant or Methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV). Studies have found that MDPV can raise the dopamine levels just like cocaine does, only ten times stronger.

The most common symptoms of abuse are paranoia, chest pains, agitation, kidney pain, muscle tension nausea, confusion, reduced need for food or sleep, suicidal ideas, delusions and/or increased heart rate.

When an individual is taking the drug and the heart rate increases, it makes the person feel very hot, and they will take off their clothes. While on the drug, the act of taking off their clothes seems reasonable because the drug causes extreme confusion. The individual does not know where they are, what they are doing, how they got there or, for that matter, really does not care where they actually are.

This drug also causes a weird side effect where individuals on the drug will attack other people, attempting to bite them and actually consume what they bite off. It is almost as if their extreme state of confusion is causing the individuals to crave something only human flesh can satisfy.
