Leonardo Da Vinci – 1452–1466
Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452, “at the third hour of the night” in the Tuscan hill town of Vinci, in the lower valley of the Arno River in the territory of Florence. He was the illegitimate son of Messer Piero Fruosino di Antonio da Vinci, a Florentine notary, and Caterina, a peasant who may have been a slave from the Middle East. Leonardo had no surname in the modern sense, “da Vinci” simply meaning “of Vinci”: his full birth name was “Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci”, meaning “Leonardo, son of (Mes)ser Piero from Vinci.”

Little is known about Leonardo’s early life. He spent his first five years in the hamlet of Anchiano, then lived in the household of his father, grandparents and uncle, Francesco, in the small town of Vinci. His father had married a sixteen-year-old girl named Albiera, who loved Leonardo but died young. In later life, Leonardo only recorded two childhood incidents. One, which he regarded as an omen, was when a kite dropped from the sky and hovered over his cradle, its tail feathers brushing his face. The second occurred while exploring in the mountains. He discovered a cave and was both terrified that some great monster might lurk there, and driven by curiosity to find out what was inside.

Leonardo’s early life has been the subject of historical conjecture. Vasari, the 16th century biographer of Renaissance painters tells of how a local peasant requested that Ser Piero ask his talented son to paint a picture on a round plaque. Leonardo responded with a painting of snakes spitting fire which was so terrifying that Ser Piero sold it to a Florentine art dealer, who sold it to the Duke of Milan. Meanwhile, having made a profit, Ser Piero bought a plaque decorated with a heart pierced by an arrow, which he gave to the peasant.

Leonardo’s most notable work consists actually writes and sketches found in his diary, things have remained unpublished long after his death. In such a Notebook fully reflected Leonardo’s productive, investigative and adventurous mind and eye. The pages are filled with a surprising amount of thoughts, observations, drawings and experiments. Includes studies of water movement and reflections on the nature of the universe, as well as knowledge of fossils and principles of flying. They include a record of one of the greatest offenses, the systematic investigation of the human anatomy. Leonardo da Vinci gained around 30 dead human bodies for the evisceration of making out extremely clean, accurate sketches accompanied by Designer Notes.

Could you imagine what he could of done today with things like, 3D printing, computers, metal alloys, advanced engine/motor and electronics technology.

It also makes me think of what Tesla could of done too.

      HaHa! This is so wrong.

Da Vinci was a time traveler. Evidenced by his obvious presence at the Last Supper, Leo captured the moment Jesus said:

“If you wanna be in the picture, you gotta get on this side of the table.”

Leo then created the famous painting based upon the photo he took. Michelangelo mocked him mercilessly for his “photocopied” work, calling Da Vinci a total cheat.
In response Leo equated Michelangelo to a whore, saying that he only did his best “work” while laying on his back.

      From Da Vinci’s notebook.

he got lost in time trying to find a pokemon :D

      • RAINSCRYPT

        Absolutely true.

The original Time Traveller had visited Da Vinci and handed him a copy of “The Chronic Argonauts”. Having then learned “the craft”, Leo began traveling far into the future with proof of recent visitations to our time documented into the BIN itself.

He goes by the name “Vinnie” with a photo of himself revealing the shock and bewilderment at today’s collective mental state.

By the way, RAIN is spelled wrong.

hum… Must be demonic in nature than and must be cleanse by fire for his own good.
It will be more painful for me then for him, but it is a sacrifice I am willing to make.

          • RAINSCRYPT

Your sacrifice is noted and I will forward your name into nomination for membership in the Justice League.

Or do you prefer the X-Men?

            • Nanar

I’ll just take vouchers for gas and wood.
I am but a humble servant of justice and freedom (and anybody who disagrees with me shall be cast into the pits of hell (for ever))

      • Syco247

No no no, he wen’t home to his planet, didn’t you see where futurama explained it?

    • Mick

FRAUD! Who are you trying to kid? Really? You must think we’re morons.

    • Syco247

Bullcrap, those are not Da Vinci sketches. I have a really cool coffee table book that is nothing but his sketches. They are also on display at several museums around the world. None of them are a camera or a cellphone, sell that BS elsewhere.

      • duncombemu

Syco247. Don’t ‘read’ too much into the pictures. I think whoever drew those pictures, drew them of ‘how’ Da Vinci would of drawn them.
