Ballot Access News publisher Richard Winger expects Stein to reach 47. If so, Stein would break the ballot access record for the Green Party, topping the Ralph Nader 2000 effort by four states.

Not only that, a major campaign has been launched for Stein to participate in the presidential debates. Don’t be surprised if that happens, despite that entire decision resting in the hands of corporate media – part of America’s election rigging conspiracy. The Commission of Presidential Debates says it will invite only candidates who average 15 percent in “five national public opinion polling organizations selected by CPD.”

“We are both physicians who have a long history of working on health policy,” Dr. Jill Stein and Dr. Margaret Flowers recently said in a joint statement. They said no candidate is calling out health care privatization as the fatal flaw in President Obama’s so-called “Affordable” Care Act (ACA), nor providing a genuine solution.

An example of Stein’s answers resonating with both Republicans and Democrats was her response when Scientific America asked each candidate a series of questions regarding “What Do the Presidential Candidates Know about Science?”

“It is a major concern that many Americans don’t trust our scientific and regulatory agencies, and extremely unfortunate that there are valid reasons for this declining trust that must be addressed,” Stein said. For example, the current FDA commissioner appointed by President Obama was a highly paid consultant for big pharmaceutical corporations, as Senator Sanders pointed out in opposing his nomination. In the case of Vioxx, the FDA approved a profitable pain reliever that caused up to 140,000 cases of heart disease, and even tried to silence its own scientists who discovered this deadly side effect.

Hard to imagine Big Business Trump (or Clinton is she stays alive for the end of the race) putting their money where their mouths are when it comes to Big Oil poisoning the nation’s water, food and air.

Stein would has a rough row to hoe convincing anti-immigrant Americans with her logical, evidence-based responses regarding immigrants driving wages down — a hard sale to the overwhelming majority of Americans preferring racism above else, including facts. Stein says the main reasons are:  “deportation of our jobs; the corporate rigged trade agreements; the Wall Street deregulation, which divested from our communities and our jobs and 9 million jobs went up in smoke, you know? That’s what’s really threatening jobs and wages in this country.

“The most important thing we can do is to stop causing the immigration crisis in the first place, through policies like NAFTA, which not only sent our jobs overseas but which destroyed millions of jobs for farmers and factory workers south of the border.

“We also drive this immigration crisis through the war on drugs, which has killed 100,000 people in Mexico alone over the last six years — that is driving a wave of refugees. And by overturning democracies in other countries — in particular, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador — by supporting corporate coups as Hillary Clinton did in Honduras, giving them the thumbs up. Death squads — which we have been a party to training — and invasions of other countries. We are creating this wave of refugees, and then shamefully we are then criminalizing these refugees once they come here by detaining, deporting, and night raiding them.”

No small wonder corporate-government media is doing all it can to black-out Stein.
