The Parrot Is The Most Awesome Bigfoot Drone I've Seen Yet (Video)
Jonathan Brown is on a mission in Washington. In 2013, he had captured one of the most compelling thermal footage of Bigfoot ever. As with most thermal footage, it’s inconclusive, and the details just aren’t enough to convince skeptics. The Browns has decided to step it up a notch this year, and they’re taking it to the skies. Meet their new friend that’s going to help that get that money shot: The Parrot Bebop Drone. For it’s price, the specs are simply amazing: Full-HD video, GPS, and a controller called the Skycontroller — an amplified Wi-Fi radio and four antennas allowing you to fly farther — up to 1.2 miles (2km). The Bebop can fly in winds up to about 30mph or 50kmh, and can reach speeds of around 45mph or 75kmh:
The Bebop is limited to a flight time of 11 minutes. High winds and fast flying will shorten that time. Here’s a full review of the drone:

Parrot drones kinda suck actually.
Especially the AR in the second video, you’re not going to fly more than 30 meters away from you with that. It’s a complete toy drone that uses only wifi for control and video. But the bebop 2 isn’t that great either. In order to get the 1.2 mile range, you need to buy the extra controller, which is 300 extra dollars, making there total price more than a DJI Phantom 3, which is a better drone.
You also rarely get the distance advertised with anything like this, including the Phantoms. So that 1.2 mile range will in realistic conditions be more like a half mile.
The parrot bebop’s camera is also mostly front facing, meaning in order to shoot footage of the ground you’ll need to be relatively close to the ground. Whereas with a DJI, or other drones with a mountable camera gimble you can actually get good ground footage.
Basically what I’m getting at is that a Parrot Bebop 2 is a horrible drone for bigfoot hunting. The Parrot AR Drone 2 is a toy and can’t be used for anything other than flying in your backyard.
For half the price of the Parrot Bebop 2 you could get a Hubsan or Syma with near identical specs and distance with double the flight time.
Also all drones are kinda noisy, bigfoot would hear one coming unless youre over 30 or 40 meters up, and at that height even at 1080p bigfoot would look just like a guy in a hoody.
