11 Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes
The big day is almost here, so here’s a quick round-up of my 11 favorite Thanksgiving recipes – a few appetizers, side dishes, and dessert options just in case you need a few more ideas for your Thanksgiving menu, like the green beans a go-go that you see above – so good! As for the turkey, you can’t go wrong with Wolfgang Puck’s brined turkey recipe – I’ve made it many times and it always turns out a juicy turkey with a crispy skin.
We’ll be spending the week with family so I’ll be taking some time to enjoy the break and the big day – Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
And now, 11 Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes…
These goat cheese stuffed mushrooms are easy to make and always disappear fast!
In our house no holiday is complete without a plate of apple and sage pork sausage rolls to snack on. These come together quickly thanks to pre-made puff pastry.
Another holiday classic – onion dip! My version has caramelized onion, roasted garlic, and bacon – can’t go wrong with that combination!
This tomato and pickled beet salad is great as a starter or side dish – it’s light and refreshing making it the perfect addition to a menu full of rich and decadent dishes.
Space is always a challenge when making a big meal, so I make my mashed potatoes in the crockpot – it’s easy and the results are delicious!
Rich and creamy cheese sauce baked up with fresh Brussels sprouts and topped with a crispy bread crumb and bacon topping – this Brussels sprouts gratin is always a favorite at the holidays!
If Brussels sprouts aren’t your thing give this roasted cauliflower gratin a try – same concept, different flavors!
Pie is the go-to standby at most Thanksgiving dinners, but sometimes it’s nice to surprise everyone with something a little different for dessert. This pumpkin cheesecake is a great way to switch things up – a little advanced planning helps as it takes a day to get this ready, but there’s still time so I hope you give it a try!
These dark chocolate pecan bars are another great dessert choice – they’re easy to make and serve!
And last, but not least, check out these cute little cranberry pie bites. If you don’t know what to do with all of your leftover cranberry sauce get some premade pie dough and bake up a batch of these – trust me, they’ll disappear fast!
