Mother Poisoned Kids! Promised Trip to Disneyland, Then Killed Them!

A woman who is accused of killing her two children in a Santa Ana motel room this weekend told them they were going on a trip to Disneyland and the beaches, authorities said.
Marilyn Edge was charged Monday with two counts of murder by poison and faced arraignment Tuesday. In court, a judge asked about a future court date and Edge responded: “Only if you promise me the death penalty,” according to KTLA.
The bodies of Edge’s two children were found by police in a room at a Hampton Inn in Santa Ana.
Edge led authorities to the room after she drove her car into an electrical box in Costa Mesa on Saturday morning. Before getting out of the vehicle, she tried to choke herself with an electrical wire, Santa Ana Police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said.
After she was out of the vehicle, she told responding officers about the children.
The Associated Press reported that Edge’s ex-husband had recently received full custody of their 13-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter. According to the report, Edge sent a text message Friday to her ex-husband saying that she would take the children to Georgia, where he lives. AP quoted prosecutors as saying she told the children they would get to visit Disneyland.
According to prosecutors, Edge, 42, of Scottsdale, Ariz., poisoned the children Saturday morning.
She faces life in prison without parole if convicted.

What a sicko!
It’s too bad we don’t do public executions anymore.
That is what she wants…execution. It is really sad though and we always blame the person and never look at the whole picture.
We as a species are so dang arrogant and filled with ego. But what really caused this mother to do this and want to end her own life too? A thought of a lack of future for her children, a life of being a corporate slave, a life of abuse by her ex?
Murdering is definitely not the answer, but our society is failing us all and our children and for some people death seems to be a better option. We are not immortal and this life seems so imprisoned that some people think why bother with the suffering before you die, why not die now.
Yes these children could’ve grown to be happy corporate slaves or corporate slave drivers themselves, but realistically people…look at the whole picture…Our way of life is failing us all!! Our Earth is almost ruined, we just live for the almighty dollar, nobody cares about anybody else, the economy sucks, food is laced with chemicals, schools suck. So yes maybe she had some mental issues and deserves to die, but the reality is our whole world needs to change before we be so quick to judge another!
So ya lets just keep executing the ones who cant handle this life and keep doing what we are doing. Lets just sweep the dust under the rug and act like it is not there! Wake up, this is happening way too much and we need to start standing up for one another, put the blame where the blame is due! WHY are our prisons so overcrowded?? That is the first questions we need to be asking ourselves! Follow the dominoes backwards people
