Liberalism is a Mental Disorder ~ Dr. Michael Savage

Michael Savage
Popular, conservative radio host Dr. Michael Savage has also joined the call to help those suffering from this devastating illness. In his new book, Liberalism is a Mental Disorder, Dr. Savage shares his observations of the affliction he likens to a national cancer (Lenin, 2005).
Top Ten Best Seller. In the book, Savage chronicles what he calls the continued assault of the liberals and leftists on the “sacred pillars” of American life including marriage, the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Ten Commandments, in addition to a chapter on Islamo-fascism. Savage also offers readers his advice on handling the “assaults.” Each chapter includes a “Savage Spotlight of Truth” that purports to cast a light on how liberals spread their alleged political agenda. Liberalism is a Mental Disorder remained on the Top-Ten New York Times best-seller list for several months after its release on April 12, 2005 (Wikipedia, 2006).
Summary of Savage’s Book. This book may contain controversial issues biased towards the right. This overview only contains a summary of the book and does not show the views of the editor (Wikipedia, 2006).
- Savage first discusses George Bush’s actions on the War in Iraq. He presents his point: If someone is going to start a war, somebody needs to end it. He suggests that with a harsh attack, our country could free Iraq and move out. Savage uses a comparison to General Patton for his plan. He concludes that with the war over, the United States may have more time to focus on domestic problems.
- The second chapter is about how Islamite radicals have turned Islamic religious growth into a dangerous campaign. Islam has links to most terrorist attacks that have occurred in the past 20 years. Savage goes on to reference religious passages from the Qu’ran in which it promotes the murder of non-believers. Islamo-fascists (Isfasts), as Savage calls radical Islamists, have become a large threat in recent years.
- The author then addresses the growing problem of illegal aliens. According to estimates he received, approximately over 12-million people entered the United States illegally each year for the past several years. Even in the heightened state of alert after 9/11, all of these people are entering through the borders, mostly without detection. He hypothesizes that illegal immigrants also indirectly take money from American citizens through welfare and Medicaid.
- Savage then discusses lawyers. He talks about the numerous lawsuits that are brought up today that are unnecessary. One of his examples is the lawsuit of Seong Sil Kim of New York. She was given $9.9 million because she stood in front of a train to commit suicide, and the train injured her hand. Savage then points out that approximately 80 percent of doctors order unneeded tests and 74 percent refers patients to other specialists so that he or she can avoid lawsuits. Many times the tests use tax money to fund these extra tests.
- Savage then discusses mass media. His example is that when Yassar Arafat died, the media glorified him as a great, progressive leader. Arafat started the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), which has killed millions of opponents. Arafat was indirectly responsible for millions of deaths, yet the media said he was ‘innovative,’ a ‘freedom fighter.’ He also reportedly hid away billions of dollars that came from different countries. The original intentions for the money were to help the impoverished people in Palestine.
- Savage is outraged that groups similar to and including the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) have caused public scenes for decades. He believes that they use old tactics, simply to make their point. His solution to this is to ignore them.
- The book ends with a list of reasons why Savage believes John Kerry lost the 2004 election. Savage’s biggest topic was gay marriage. He says gay marriage is opposed by too many voters who believe that only by preventing gay marriage can the institution of marriage be kept sacred. According to references in the states that introduced a Defense of Marriage initiative on the 2004 ballot, all 11 states supported the bill. Savage believes Kerry lost because too many voters could not relate to Kerry’s beliefs” (Wikipedia, 2006).
Secular Progressives (SPs) Do Not Consider Terrorism a Threat. Listening to a majority of the SP politicians and pundits and reading op-ed page writers, apparently, they do not consider terrorism in the USA as a significant threat. It is more of a joke. Apparently, it has been too many decades since The Great Depression, World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War. People have not been exercised enough to understand the Isfast threat and peril we face. Someday, they will experience a rude awakening.
SPs Want the U.S. to Lose. Dr. Vernon Chong (n.d.), Major General, USAF, Retired, said, “Some have gone so far in their criticism of the war and/or the Administration that it almost seems they would literally like to see us lose. Not because they are disloyal. It is because they just do not recognize what losing means. Nevertheless, that conduct gives the impression to the enemy that we are divided and weakening. It concerns our friends, and it does great damage to our cause.”
The Gen X Syndrome. Generation X’ers (i.e., people born between 1965 and 1980) have really not experienced the full impact of these types of events in their lives, with the exception of 9/11, which only occurred a little over nine years ago. How quickly we forget! The Gen X syndrome would explain the low concern for the Isfast threat in the USA. We will wait and see what happens. When it does happen, remember, you read about it here first.
Disgraceful Retired Generals and Admirals
Defective Generals and Admirals. Sun Tzu (2006) said, “Now the general is the bulwark of the State; if the bulwark is complete at all points; the State will be strong; if the bulwark is defective, the State will be weak.” In the middle of the Iraq War, 12 disgusting, disgraceful, liberal, retired generals and admirals opposed the war, opposed President George W. Bush, and endorsed the loser John Kerry for president of the United States. These generals and admirals are unintelligent. That fool, John Kerry, could not fool the American electorate.
Democrat National Convention. “At…the [2004] Democratic convention…a parade of military brass [of]…12 liberal retired generals and admirals publicly endorsed Kerry and that night, General John M. Shalikashvili, a former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, spoke from the podium. The next night General Wesley Clark, the commander of the U.S. attack on Yugoslavia, praised Kerry as a potential ‘commander in chief’ (Independent Media Center, 2004).”
Weakened Our National Posture on the World Scene. This endorsement in the middle of an ongoing war was the biggest disgraceful military display of partisan politics ever witnessed in a lifetime. To say the least, it was appalling! When on active duty, generals and admirals should follow orders and support their commander-in-chief…or resign if they cannot support the national policy. After they retire, they should keep their mouths shut and stay out of politics or actively run for political office. These retired generals and admirals comprise a bunch of jokers who weakened our national posture on the world scene.
Worst President in History?
We Did Not Start the War on Terror. An Afghan-Iraq Veteran (2004) said, “Some claim President Bush should not have started the Iraq war. They complain about his prosecution of it. One person claimed Bush to be the worst president in U.S. history. Let us clear up one point: We did not start the war on terror. Try to remember that terrorists started it on 9/11. Let us examine the alleged “worst” president and mismanagement claims:
- Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us but Japan did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost—an average of 112,500 per year.
- Truman finished World War II and started another war in Korea. North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost—an average of 18,333 per year.
- John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.
- Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost—an average of 5,800 per year.
- Clinton went to war in Bosnia without United Nations or French consent. Bosnia never attacked us. Sudan offered Osama bin Laden’s head on a platter to Clinton three times, and he did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
- In the two years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, and crippled al-Qaida. He put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran, and North Korea without firing a shot and captured a terrorist [Saddam Hussein] who slaughtered 300,000+ of his own people.
- We lost 600 soldiers, an average of 300 a year. Bush did all this abroad while not allowing another terrorist attack at home.
Worst president in history? The facts do not support that assertion. Come on! (Afghan-Iraq Veteran, 2004).” If you want the worst president in history, you need not look any further than our current president, Barack Hussein Obama. He is the worst president ever!
Students. We need to do extensive background checks on all foreign AMI students in the United States taking pilot training, courses in nuclear physics, and military science training. Put “tails” on suspicious AMI students. Indeed, we should stalk them (as a stalker does) every day at all hours of the day and night.
Can We Lose the War on Terrorism?
Dr. Vernon Chong (n.d.), Major General, USAF, Retired, said, “Again, the answer is simple. We can lose the war by ‘imploding.’ That is, defeating ourselves by refusing to recognize the enemy and their purpose, and really digging in and [not] lending full support to the war effort. If we are united, there is no way that we can lose. If we continue to be divided, there is no way that we can win!”

1) His name is WEINER, not “Savage”
2) The first sign of mental illness is thinking God is talking to you.
It is time that 3,500 years of “biblically mandated” inbreeding within Judaism be recognized as causing genetic insanity.
It is one of the “tenets” of Judaism that BOTH parents be Jewish. The Jewish mother determines that a person is Jewish,
and the father determines the “tribe” of Judaism. Well 3,500 years of inbreeding, as any geneticist could have warned, has led to mass insanity.
Unfortunately, Jews should not be left in charge of their own affairs, because they are systemicly insane. Judaism should be a recognized sign of mental illness.
“Delusions of grandeur are associated with the manic phase of bipolar disorder and frequently with other delusional content typical of schizophrenics, especially delusions of persecution – paranoia. Grandiosity can be comparatively harmless, although disruptive to family and professional relations and an impediment to healthy and productive functioning in general.
But when combined with delusions of persecution it is dangerous. The reason the two are frequently linked and mutually reinforcing is that only a person who is convinced that he is uniquely and innately imbued with superior abilities and moral qualities and is assigned a role in and even above history can believe that he is an object worthy of an elaborate, relentless and unparalleled campaign of harassment and hostility. A normal person – or nation – doesn’t entertain that degree of self-importance in either respect.”
1) You are way behind the times. Weiner was his original name. He legally changed it to Savage as a stage name–but his real name since the change.
2) I don’t believe anyone thinks that. Nobody even alluded to God speaking to them. So, your second point is also refuted.
The rest you wrote is anti-Semitic gibberish. What are your degrees in? Throwing out all of those technical psychological terms indicate that you must have a doctorate in Psychology. Is that true or not?
Your last paragraph seems like you are speaking about yourself. True or not?
