Ron Paul:  The Greatest Emancipator

Ron Paul has become the Greatest Emancipator because as Lincoln freed the slaves, he also made everyone a slave to a government that knows no limits nor acknowledges its own laws.  Ron Paul, on the other hand, seeks to limit government and bind it to its contract with the people.  Lincoln wanted unlimited centralized government and Ron Paul seeks to educate Americans as to every manner in which the government and its minions steal freedom, economically enslave the people and use their blood to engage in a global crime spree.  He seeks to educate people as to how little the people actually need a government that now does more harm than good.  For Dr. Paul’s efforts the media now seeks to portray him as a racist.

Seeing how the wool has been pulled over the eyes of society as to the state oppression to which African- Americans have been subject, but to now which the majority of Americans have now become aware, you would think African-Americans would understand why Ron Paul is being smeared in the press. Nelson Linder of the NAACP does.

Chapter NAACP President Nelson Linder has known Ron Paul for 20 years and states unequivocally that the charges of racism against Congressman Ron Paul are smear attempts resulting from Dr. Paul being a threat to the establishment.

“Knowing Ron Paul’s intent, I think he is trying to improve this country, but I think also, when you talk about the Constitution and you constantly criticize the federal government versus state I think a lot of folks are going to misconstrue that….so I think it’s very easy for folks who want to take his positions out of context and that’s what I’m hearing,” said Linder.

“Knowing Ron Paul and having talked to him, I think he’s a very fair guy I just think that a lot of folks do not understand the Libertarian platform.” Linder said.

When asked directly if he thought Ron Paul was a racist, Linder responded “No I don’t,” adding that he had heard Ron Paul speak out about police repression of black communities and mandatory minimum sentences on many occasions.  Ron Paul has stated he would pardon all those languishing in government cages for non-violent drug offenses of which the African-American community is the greatest victim within our society.

Dr. Paul has also publicly praised Martin Luther King as his hero on many occasions spanning back 20 years. 

“I’ve read Ron Paul’s whole philosophy, I also understand what he’s saying from a political standpoint and why people are attacking him,” said Linder.

“If you scare the folks that have the money, they’re going to attack you and they’re going to take you out of context,” he added.

“What he’s saying is really really threatening the powers that be and that’s what they fear,” concluded the NAACP President.

African-Americans convicted of minor drug offenses are marginalized and often unable to vote again.  People found guilt of a government-mandated victimless crime rarely find satisfactory employment after a drug conviction and are excluded from the political process, public office, government work and even careers that require state licensing such as for barbers and morticians.

Moreover, the non-violent drug offender is subjected to prison brutality that often results in being maimed or raped.  Police and prison guards laugh and take sadistic delight in letting prisoners know what will happen to them in prison.  People who are kind and caring individuals that have spent a lifetime being raised by a kind and caring family are left to be caged with violent psychopaths.

The drug war has left many an innocent African-American shot by police as they either become over-zealous in attacking the drug crime without regard for the innocents who become the collateral damage of a trigger-happy cop or a fanatically malevolent prosecutor seeking to bolster their conviction statistics.

All Americans need to understand that our government is an equal opportunity oppressor that is willing to subject 99% of Americans to debt slavery and exploitation for a government controlled elites who have become our masters.  This government seeks to enslave the middle class for the benefit of the 1% that make up the financial and political elite.  This master forces us to support the giving of hundreds upon hundreds of billions of dollars to corporate military contractors, trillions to the banking industry and the supporting of a Homeland Security apparatus that makes goofy laws to give the illusion of security while finding ever ingenious ways to implement tyranny posing as justice and law.  This master wants to take trillions from us slaves to use to buy off journalists to lie us into war and tell us how much we need more wars, weapons, foreign aid and foreign interventions.

It is ironic that the one person who seeks to emancipate all Americans from the type of oppression the elites have visited upon us is now being slandered so as to be viewed as a racist to the general public by those who seek to oppress and exploit others for their profit.  This nonsense could have only come from a media that is completely controlled by corporate owners who seek to manipulate people so as to have them manufacture consent for their own slavery.  Goethe said, “There are none more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.”  It is a shame it is so easy for the media to manipulate people to work against their own self-interest by appealing to emotion at the exclusion of logic.
