CELEBRATIONS: Animal Snow Globe

There have been a couple of trends that I love in the crafty world – snow globes made from jars and painted plastic animals. I decided to combine the two into a holiday stacked animal snow globe.

So here’s my take on the ever-popular holiday snow globe.

Because why shouldn’t a giraffe be stacked on a polar bear on top of an elephant while celebrating the Christmas season?

Each animal was painted in gold craft paint and then hot glued together.

The giraffe wears an evergreen wreath and a shiny Santa hat.

The little wooden angel rests on top of the polar bear heralding in the season and the elephant carries a tiny wooden present.

Both the angel and wooden present have been in my stash for probably 20 years…

The original crafty creators of the jar snow globe and the painted plastic animals were brilliant! I’ve seen hundreds of different projects using these ideas but I have know idea who originally came up with the idea. Let me know if you know the original creators.
