    Natural News, a cornerstone in the Truth community, has been going down a very ignorant path in terms of their html coding, making their data potentially not available for all practical purposes, at the whims of private self-interested 3rd party companies like Google, or to anyone who wishes to pay off the correct scumbag.  Like many websites, NaturalNews.com has already long ago become ignorantly dependent on arcane “Google” type html source codes, which first of all allow the advertisers to not allow the web page to not load simply by not allowing the ads or outside resources to load.  Now the coding in NaturalNews.com has gone one step further, by becoming practically “non-archivable” (not savable) for later viewing off-line, due to outside 3rd party firmware html coding.

    In my typical web browsing, I left-click on pages of interest and save them for viewing later, off-line, and then I have copy of these pages permanently available if I wish, saved on my own personal memory.  Due to the new recent firmware html coding, even if a Natural News page is saved by left-clicking, IT IS NOW NOT VIEWABLE LATER WITHOUT A LIVE INTERNET CONNECTION.  

   I say 99% not available, because knowing this in advance, it is still possible to copy and paste Natural News script from their live page to a word processing type document for off-line archiving.  However I am not likely to go to the work to do that unless a particular page is extremely interesting to me.  It is also still possible for one to open up the saved html script itself, and through a painstaking process, dig through mountains of arcane code, and find hidden the actual words of the story.  Through just one more simple twist of firmware coding it could be possible for 3rd party companies to make it even impossible to extract the essential text through the back-door study of the html code, and some other truth websites have already sunk to those levels, and probably without even the knowledge of the site operators, who only view their pages on-line and are not aware of the need for others to save their pages personally for future posterity.

    As it is now with many “Truth” sites such as Natural News, private parties can simply shut off access to all their data at the “flip of their own private switch”, and no court of law will do anything about it, because the site originators naively placed themselves “in the mouth of the beast”, totally vulnerable to censorship by any whims of 3rd parties.

    To protect against this, “Truth” website operators should learn about simple basic html coding, WHICH CAN BE LEARNED IN A SINGLE DAY, and design their own web pages using any simple word processer or notepad program, without the need of using any intermediary page development programs, and not even an “html editor” is really needed.  That is what I did in the early 90′s when I first posted a website, and it was surprising simple, even having NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE in computer coding.

    With simple html coding a site is easily “savable” for a visitor, more secure from censorship, and a person can open the html code itself and view the text almost as easy as seeing the web page itself.  A few examples of websites that are more resistant from instant high-jacking using their own simple html coding, are rense.com, and jimstone.is.  In fact a person can teach themselves html coding even without any text books, simply by left-clicking on any simple html coded site (unfortunately most sites no longer have simple html), opening the html code, and studying how the text and images are tagged with the codes.  A person could just copy the html code from simply coded site that they like the look of, replace the original words titles, and images with their own, and “wala”, their own independent web site html is made and ready to upload to a server!  Learning html code is really not much more difficult than learning a slightly more advanced form of punctuation between the writing.  A website can be just as sophisitcated and beautiful looking by using simple html code. 

     However html code has often been made much more complicated than necessary by negatively oriented 3rd parties and web site “professional” (con-artists) who thrive on the illusion of html difficulty.  Keeping a site secure from hacking has more to do with the type of domain hosting arrangement, and the type of settings and politics of the host server.  Arcane 3rd party html code or WordPress type sites are an open barn door for censorship by private interests.  The only reason this has not happened yet in mass, is because “they” are not ready to spook the sheep yet.

    Ranking tricks for search engines are no longer as much of a concern for truther sites, since most people use Google, and Google censors the results to their liking anyhow.  However by simply posting sufficient meta-data keywords in the html code and personally notifying the various search engines, one can make their site more visible on those search engines.  Better yet, truther sites can make themselves more visible simply by contacting other truth venues personally, announcing their presence, and sharing their materials.

    Major advertising venues place websites in a vulnerable position by insisting on arcane firmware type coding.  A website operator can take the power back into their own hands, by dealing with advertisers directly, one on one, and personally placing the ads in their page using simple html coding. These “hardwired” ads cannot then be blocked by ad-blocker programs.

    As it stands now it has become unlikely that I will even visit NaturalNews.com, and even less likely that I will save any of their stories.  Mike Adams is wise.  I hope he directs at least a small fraction of his intelligence to this fundamentally most important issue, rather than getting caught “with his pants down”, when Big Pharma and TPTB decide to strike.
