New Madrid making moves...

Many of you may already be familiar with the continual cluster of quakes near the town of Greenbrier, Arkansas, the largest of which has been a 4.7 that occurred on February 27th.   However, on March 7th, a quake with a magnitude of 2.3 rattled the actual township of New Madrid itself.   And on the 26th of March, this past weekend, a quake centered near Enola, Arkansas registered a 2.6 at a depth of over 7 miles.  Very deep for the recent cluster of Arkansas quakes.  This quake was markedly East of the Greenbrier area, moving in the direction of the New Madrid Fault.  And, as of the 27th of March, 2 small quakes shook the towns of Caraway and Saint Francis along the Eastern / NE corner of Arkansas…both areas directly in the New Madrid zone.  These are areas without usual, frequent, or recent activity at all.  I suppose the question is whether this may be an indication that the New Madrid is waking up.
