California Pisgah Volcano Plume NOT Confirmed!

I like Dutch.  I follow him, but frankly I’m a bit disappointed in his latest discernment over a video he believes confirms or “vindicates” his analysis of radar on the Pisgah Volcano plume.  What was he thinking?  Did he just see the video and get so excited at the possibility of his vindication that he didn’t think twice about the inconsistencies?

The first thing that struck me about the original video was the 3-4 minutes worth of irrelevant shooting of the trip to the desert-even Dutch didn’t waste time on that part in his vindication video.  After the mind-numbing video of said road trip, nothing but still shots when they spot the “plume”.  Who plans a trip to the desert to film specific evidence, tapes all kinds of irrelevant road footage and runs out of battery (disc space, whatever) for the main event?  Who doesn’t charge their battery if they’re going to investigate a scene?  If  they ran out of space, why not rewind and cut out some of the irrelevant garbage and shoot the REAL evidence?  Giving us long distant still shots of a dust/smoke plume that no one can make out is really too inconsistent for words.  THEY say that the attendant was surprised, but a legitimate scene investigation would have included an interview of the clerk-not endless road video.  This  alone should have been a major red flag to Dutch.

The other red flag was that this wasn’t the Pisgah area, but a place in Amboy some 40 miles away.  The videographers  point out a volcano crater, then show some kind of plume (could be dust, smoke, military testing) on a road a good 2 miles away.  They can’t get any closer because it is behind a military base.  Wow, that’s confirmation?  Was Dutch’s rad analysis around a military base, because maybe they were testing/drilling and this is why USGS is mum?  I don’t know.  I considered Dutch’s viewpoint until this “vindication”.  This is why people need independent analysis-it’s really for their own protection.  If you think  someone’s video vindicates you, then have a few others look at it and come to a consensus before you just declare yourself the victor.  Otherwise you get egg on your face.

And people need to be careful.  One can be just as much a sheeple relying on citizen reports as they are watching the MSM.  You can’t just believe it’s true because someone declares it.  You have to apply critical reasoning to the situation or evidence.  The number of comments on both videos are running 3-1 in favor of and “thanking” these characters for their detective footwork-responders using not one ounce of their own reasoning, not even becoming suspicious of the cut-to-still shots on the pertinent information.  STOP AND THINK PEOPLE!   Yes the government lies to us, but that doesn’t mean we should believe the next guy with a story.  Citizens bringing reports must be careful or the very trust that folks place in them will be dashed for negligence, and they will end up like the governing agencies we have all come to suspect.
