PACIFIC NORTHWEST (INTELLIHUB) — “Our operating assumption is that everything west of Interstate 5 will be toast,” a FEMA official told Kathryn Schulz of the New Yorker. “When the next full-margin rupture happens, that region will suffer the worst natural disaster in the history of North America.”, Schulz wrote about an anticipated future mega-quake.
“The worst natural disaster in the history of America is coming […] if I lived right now in the Pacific Northwest I would be considering moving — seriously,” Fox newscaster Shepard Smith warned his audience before going on to explain how a“colossal earthquake and […] tsunami” will likely strike the Pacific Northwest in the not too distant future.
“They [scientists] are all in agreement, it is absolutely coming,” said Smith, “a wall of water […] up to a hundred feet high and up to seven-hundred feet across.

The assumption is that when the pacific plate moves down and eastward it will allow the pacific plate to jump westward relieving tension from the Olympic mountains allowing them to collapse downward. Reports suggest this has happened several times in the past. The Chehalis valley has been below sea level three times already during different epochs.

I live here in SW Washington and I am a fairly well studied in the geological history of the area. I understand the very real potential for a very large scale quake in the area. There is evidence of massive upheaval and collapse at some point in the past. I’m not saying folks should be ascared of it happening. A FEW YEARS AGO I sat down and talked to some Sheriffs Deputies out in California who would not do anything to help to get people into a disaster area or help get people into Massive Fires that they have going on NOW
It is a shame that people have become so insensitive to life around them,and how they dishonor their values and ethics.
