An earthquake shook the densely populated New York City metropolitan area Friday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey said, with residents reporting they felt rumbling across the Eastern Seaboard. The agency reported a quake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.8, centered near Lebanon, New Jersey.

I live here in Central NJ, and was standing in the kitchen when it hit.
It just felt like several really big trucks driving by.
It did shake the whole house and rattle the windows in their frames a little, but it only lasted about 12~15 seconds or so and it was over.
Really, no big deal, but the news acts like NY was almost destroyed or something like that.
I KNOW!,… what the gov’t needs is an “Earthquake Tax” to stop this kind of thing!… Yeah, yeah!,.. that’s it,… ANOTHER do-nothing tax to fleece the American people a little more!
