Forecast 2010-11-08 - Economic Crash leading to War

As of writing this, gold has smashed the $1,400 an ounce mark and is currently sitting around $1407.50. This is due to world wide worries about the Federal Reserve going into Quantitative Easing Phase Two, along with the Bank of England. Already the Federal Reserve are discussing QE3 and QE4, and this is making the markets particularly skittish.

With the banking problems yesterday, we are watching the dollar with some concern. Some of us believe that the banks servicing their computers nationwide in the USA is in preparation for an extended bank holiday from the 11th of November, while others point to Foreclosure-Gate and reason that they are trying to destroy digital evidence of this. Either reason is not good for the economy. An extended bank holiday will either lead to dollar devaluation, or to dollar devaluation with it then being pegged to the IMF’s global SDR, the Bancor.

Also, unknown to the rest of the world, Uruguay is already having an extended bank holiday to devalue their currency in preparation for the coming dollar devaluation, but this is not hitting the main stream news at all. Soldiers are posted outside of government banks to prevent rioting outside them, while their media is claiming that the banks are closed due to industrial action. I only found out about this through a FaceBook contact who lives there, otherwise I, and the rest of the world, would have remained ignorant of this development.

Meanwhile, the war drums are beating once more over Iran, and the Neo-Cons and War Hawks like Senator Lindsey Graham are talking of a military attack on Iran. Meanwhile, the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, tells the US vice president, Joe Biden, that the Israeli government was getting rather impatient with the sanctions policy against Iran. It seems that the age old game of “Got an economic collapse? Send the nation to war” is being played again, just like Hitler did with post-Weimar Germany. It seems that no one ever learns from history and we all do the same stupid things time and time again.

Things are going to get pretty rough over the coming months as the economy collapses and our soldiers are sent to fight another illegal War of Trade. We should have listened to President Eisenhower’s warnings about the Industrial Military Complex when we had the chance…
