Social Security Showdown: Federal Agencies Stocking Up On Ammunition: Homeland Security Preparing For Civil War

From sea to shining sea, US federal agencies are gearing up for war. Civil war.

Even the Social Security Administration is buying bullets like there’s no end in sight for the fear, paranoia and militarization of  American government agencies. 

Its Clear Our Military Is No Longer The Nation’s Only Standing Army When It Comes To Killing Power 

 

Over the past 2 weeks, everyone from the mainstream media to bloggers and conspiracy theorists have questioned the government’s mass purchasing of ammunition for federal agencies like the National Weather Service and even the Social Security Administration. Combined, both agencies ordered over 210,000 rounds. This ammunition is mostly made up of “hollow point” bullets, which are designed strictly for maximum damage to the human body and have been outlawed for use in warfare since 1969. 

 

On the surface, these purchases alone are scary enough and raise questions as to why these unlikely agencies need any amounts of ammo, especially bullets that have been outlawed. The National Weather Service claims they have 63 officers who “enforce the nation’s ocean and fishing laws to ensure a level playing field for fishermen and to protect marine species like whales, dolphins and turtles.” If you divide 46,000 rounds by the 63 agents they employ, that’s 730 bullets per agent, or, in other words, 63 crack shots and a lot of dead fisherman.   

 

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has given no specific response to questions regarding their purchase of 174,00 rounds. They said their “agents’ need them. But, keep this in mind:  the SSA only deals with US Citizens in America. The SSA has never been involved with anything outside of this country for any reason. The real privatization theorist on the Romney team is Ryan, who in 2005 cosponsored the “Social Security Personal Savings Guarantee and Prosperity Act” with Sen. John E. Sununu (R-N.H.). Their proposal was remarkable not merely for its rosily imagined post-privatized world, but for how much it prefigured Ryan’s later “reform” of Medicare. Though it purported to solve the deficit issues of both Social Security and the federal government, the plan in fact would have exploded the deficit.

The Social Security plan would have turned over management of Americans’ retirement assets to private firms, just as the Medicare plan bows to private health insurers. The Social Security proposal would have awarded management of roughly half the program’s annual inflow to Wall Street brokers and bankers, who would have been reaping fees and commissions on a torrent of about $275 billion a year to start.READ MORE HERE

The problem with Social Security is long term and our sticky fingeredCongress has been playing fast and loose with Social Security funds.  From the space program, to the war in Vietnam, to a host of big budget spending rampages, Congress has used Social Security as an endless piggy bank, and now it’s time to pay the piper.

Congress has borrowed and borrowed from social security funds.  While those who know a bit about the national debt disaster are howling that the Chinese may soon be screaming for repayment, it isn’t the Chinese we need to worry about. It’s the US taxpayer, whose funds have been promised to the Social Security fund. 

The US taxpayer and the Social Security fund are the top of the Social Security debt holders.  In essence, Congress went on a military and scientific spending spree with Social Security funds and gave the taxpayers an IOU in exchange.  Now, the IOUs are worthless and we are in the position of having to pay ourselves for money that the government borrowed.

Let me give you an example: years ago a crooked boss of mine bounced a large payroll check.  His idea of repayment was for me to go out on another job and he would pay me what he owed me from the money he received as a busines owner for my work on this new project. Not a chance.  I beat him out on a new contract, got the work and a signed contract, while he was calling me about this lovely opportunity and how he was going to pay me what he owed me if i took the project.

This is the position the US tax payer is in today.  We’ve been screwed, the ones who did the screwing are now telling us we have to tighten our belts, work longer, and maybe, just maybe, Social Security will survive.

It’s an endgame, folks. Are we going to get screwed again by the money thieves, or are we going to demand Congress get off its behind, stop playing political brinksmanship and fix the problem

From the way it looks, there are a lot of politicians out there who are ready to exploit the “crisis” for political gain–and leave Boomers, Xers, and everybody else  holding the bag and preparing for civil war.
