ObamaCare is an Oxymoron

What is an oxymoron?  I define oxymoron this way: Oxymoron is providing a continual supply of oxygen to a moron while expecting the moron to get smarter.  ObamaCare is an oxymoron.  Obama says, “I care about those without healthcare coverage.”  So, what did he do?  He caused the insurance companies to cancel over five million healthcare insurance policies of those policyholders who were happy with their healthcare plans.

Obama said that if you were happy with your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan.  Period!  He also said that if you want to keep your doctor, you can keep your doctor.  Period!  All of these people are losing their doctors.  He said that your healthcare cost will go down.  Period!  Most of these people’s healthcare costs are going up.  Does that sound like someone who cares?  Congressman Joe Wilson was right when he hollered, “You lie!”

The actual name of ObamaCare is Affordable Care Act (ACA).  We should more accurately call the ACA the Unaffordable Care Act (UCA), for the ACA is unaffordable.  As President Bill Clinton said, “It all depends on what ‘is’ is.”  The ACA is a misnomer.  It denotes affordability, yet it connotes unaffordability.  The ObamaCare Act more accurately connotes “ObamaScare.”  ObamaScare is DOA (Dead on Arrival), which is an appropriate medical terminology.

Obama did not design ObamaScare to provide affordable healthcare for all Americans.  ObamaScare will take from both the rich class and the middle class to give to the poor class—those who cannot afford healthcare.  Eventually, we will have only the poor class and socialism.  ObamaScare will make the poor class dependent on Big Government and create a majority of voters to keep the Progressives in office indefinitely until the entire system collapses.

Jehmu Greene, Fox News contributor, said, “Let’s not abolish ObamaCare.  Let’s fix it just as we did with Medicare and Medicaid.”  Unfortunately, Medicare and Medicaid are not fixed.  The ACA took $500 billion away from the Medicare program (to fund ObamaCare), which was already going broke.  Sarah Palin was correct when she said that we would have “death panels.”  Like the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), Medicaid is also going broke—just like Detroit, Michigan, which has recently filed for bankruptcy.

The American Heritage Dictionary defines an oxymoron as a rhetorical figure, which combines incongruous or contradictory terms such as in a deafening silence and a mournful optimist.  ObamaCare is an oxymoron because Obama and Care are incongruous or contradictory terms.  Obama is the greatest spendthrift president (of all other presidents combined) in U.S. history and who the majority of Americans consider as untrustworthy.  Therefore, Obama is incongruous or contradictory with Care.  More appropriately, ObamaScare is not an oxymoron because Obama and Scare are congruous and non-contradictory.  In other words, they are one-and-the-same.
