Walmart slow, few customers in checkout lines.

I do not base my theories as to what is happening in the news
on news stories. I mean, c’mon they are just news stories. WhatI base things is on what I see. Let’s be honest here and sat that we believe what we see far more than we hear.
With that being said I have to report what I see. You can be
the judge of what it means.
It is 7:00pm on a Tuesday night at our local Walmart. I hate togo to Walmart, especially right after everyone has just gotten off of work. I’m handicapped but still can’t find a parking
space. The store is always packed to the gills and you have to wait in line for like a half hour or so.
But something has changed in the last few months. There is always a parking spot. At peak hours of the day (w a little over a year ago. hen the store
should be packed) it is slow. Instead of ten babies crying I
hear maybe one off in the distance.
When I get to a check out lane, of course some some buffalo
with a cart overflowing darts in line in front of me. But now
it’s only one buffalo instead of the usual five or six from
just a few months ago.
We drive by our favorite restaurants. Of course we can’t stop and have dinner because we are too broke. I lost my job a
little over a year ago. The new company that bought the old company said that due to my previous disabilities that I could no longer perform my duties satisfactorily and gave me two
weeks pay and a sweet goodbye. So we drive by these
restaurants where we used to eat and think nothing of it. But something is wrong. There once filled to capacity, parking
lots around 6:00pm probably have, at the most, ten cars in
them. I look around and see one business failing after
another. Not just new up and coming businesses but places that have been around for fifteen,twenty or more years. Then driving home I see one new housing development after another. It
doesn’t take a rocket scientist or even a barely passing high school senior to figure out that something is terribly wrong.
