Federal Workers Paid $700 Million To Not Work & Stay At Home

Guess it’s nice (non) work if you can get it, eh? In the proud tradition of all things Obama, a new Government Accountability Report has found tens of thousands of federal workers are being paid to literally not work to the tune of $700 million taxpayer dollars.

The numbers are rather staggering – 57,000 federal employees receiving pay and benefits for not working during time periods that span from a month to three years of what amounts to full paid leave!

According to the report one of the primary reasons so many employees of the Obama government were being paid for not working was that they were awaiting the outcome of investigations into wrongdoing and criminal activity.
