Paul Craig Roberts: How CHINA Could EASILY DESTROY the US!

The Federal Reserve has created trillions of new dollars …and this enormous creation of dollars puts pressure on the dollar’s exchange value. If it were to collapse, it would cease to be the reserve currency and the US could no longer pay its bills by issuing debt,” Paul Craig Roberts said in an video interview.  

 

“As the pressure on the dollar showed itself in the rising gold markets, the reaction of the Federal Reserve operating through the bullion banks…have printed and sold enormous amounts of paper futures contracts to suppress the price of gold. 

As long as the world accepts this tradition, the result is that Asia can buy gold far below the market price. Any economist knows that when the demand for gold is rising, and there are constraints on supply, it’s not possible for the price to be falling-unless it’s rigged.

How long can this go on? I would think that the limit would be when the Western banks can no longer make delivery on the gold that the Asians buy. We are starting to see ..the Federal Reserve had to suspend sales of Silver Eagles because it could not get enough silver. The Canadian central bank had to ration the supply of Silver Maple Leaves. 

You would think this would be a scandal and there would be an investigation by the US. The rigging is obvious and it’s accepted because it’s a way of protecting the wealth of the 1%.

They have completely destroyed the US as an opportunity society. There’s no opportunity for anyone who’s not in the stock market. 

It’s been a view in the gold trading community that initially the way the Federal Reserve suppressed the gold price was to lease it’s gold to bullion dealers to have it sold. 

Washington is trying to get other countries to inflate at a rate higher than the US. We don’t have a financial media. They read the press releases that are handed to them by the government. 

So you have people who are living in the “Matrix”. It’s continued longer than I’ve thought; it’s a house of cards. It all rests on the dollar. Therefore, that means gold is a threat to the dollar and they will suppress it as long as they can.

The view of Hillary Clinton is that she’s said Putin is the ‘New Hitler’. The logical development is that you come to confrontations. The western world has had to accept the dollar as the reserve currency.  

They are all subjected to the orders of the US. So the entire world is American vassals. The ones that aren’t, like Iran and Russia , have sanctions. And China, they’re scared to sanction, because they are our greatest predator.

The western financial system is a house of cards based in corruption. They have to keep the dollar from collapsing. They will do whatever they can possibly do – putting out all kinds of false economic  information. Like the dollar is a safe haven. How is it a safe haven when the US is the most indebted  country? All this propaganda gets repeated endlessly.” 

Interviewer: Why do you continue to fight the good fight and give it to them in your terms? 

“I think because I respect truth and believe in justice. It’s  the reason. If you don’t defend truth and justice, you’re a criminal. You might get rich and have yachts and jet planes, but if you were raised the way I was, you couldn’t look yourself in the mirror. They are not a substitute for truth and integrity. They are more valuable. 

I just don’t like people who don’t do the right thing. I don’t want to be one of them. A few years ago, I received a call from a friend I hadn’t heard from in some years . He was a professor at a prominent university in the Northeast. 

He said, ‘I had lunch last week with your former colleagues in Washington and I asked about you.’ And they said, ’Oh, poor Craig – if he hadn’t turned critic, he’d be worth hundreds of millions of dollars, like us.
