GALLUP CEO AFRAID for his LIFE after Criticizing Government's Jobs Report!

As I reported yesterday, Gallup’s CEO came out and said the “ The official unemployment rate, as reported by the U.S. Department of Labor, is extremely misleading…Wall Street would like you to stay in the market. 

None of them will tell you this: If you, a family member or anyone is unemployed and has subsequently given up on finding a job — if you are so hopelessly out of work that you’ve stopped looking over the past four weeks — the Department of Labor doesn’t count you as unemployed.“ 

 

Well, apparently THAT didn’t sit well with TPTB, and today he comes out with a retraction of his statement, stating:

Is this something you’d expect to hear in the “Land of the Free”? Jim Clifton, Gallup’s CEO, goes on to say…

 

“Gallup was tring to figure out where the middle class was. They looked into the GDP…and it hasn’t moved in 5 years. Then we went to jobs. I keep reading the in ….[major] newspapers and the President tells us unemployment has been the best it’s been in 10 years.  There’s one side of it.”

And then he comes back to the truth, totally contradicting what he just said, that the BLS numbers are “very, very accurate.”

“Our concern with our analysts is that it’s very, very misleading. What Americans really want are full time jobs. Here’s the misleading point:

The percent of full time jobs in this country , to the population, is the worst it’s been in 30 years. And that’s why the middle class is hollowed out.”

Either the numbers are “very, very accurate” or they are “misleading”. It can’t be both. But for a man who was apparently threatened with his life for claiming that government numbers were a big lie, he was told to tell a ‘big lie’ to cover up the truth.

Another day is Amerika, where up is down and right is wrong and now- “accurate” is “misleading.” That’s ok, Mr. Gallup. Go home to your family. We knew a long time ago the numbers were a big lie.
