Russia Marginalizing US by Environmental Warfare - Ret. Br. General Ahmed Hany Hassanain, PhD Environmental Med. Sciences

Recently the Telegraph published a story that the Russians buried nuclear heads near the Eastern American coast that when fired strong quacks with Tsunami can destroy big cities in the USA like New York and Miami. Is Russia using the induced environmental warfare a threat for a new cold war or it intends to attack America? In fact the Russians have the advantage that their vast land that extends in two continents and their land constitutes about half of Asia makes it difficult for the Americans to use the same environmental threat. However they may respond through other environmental warfare methods that are too many to be mentioned in one article.

The Washington Post published about the Great Russian Strategy. To summarize this strategy one can say Russia is back to exert its role as what it did during the Soviet era. After years of marginalization by the West and the unipolar system led by the US it wants its share in the leadership and it will not succumb to the international mono-polar system anymore. The institutions that represent the international system are all nearly at odds with the Russian views of the new world system that the Russians aim to create. Russia and China are in strategic economic and political alliance that flexes muscles in the American meridians of the leadership. Besides they create centers of power that pose great threat to the American and Western strategies.

The Asian Southern and Eastern fronts are the playground of China that builds cement islands in the ocean to use it as military and navy bases to threat the military US presence there. The American allies in the Pacific Ocean Japan and Australia are two good fronts for the induced environmental disasters, the same like the USA and Canada and Britain in the West. Usually countries leak few information and whether the Russian military denied the presence of nuclear heads near the Eastern American coast or not the threat should signal high and red alarm for the American warmongers. What if Chinese did same as the Russians did and implanted nuclear heads near the Japanese, Australian and the American Western coast? And if the Russians would implant these heads near the Canadian and the British coasts beside what they have leaked? The answer will be too difficult for the pentagon generals until they find the nuclear warheads under the Oceans around the globe and detonate them. Until they do the American use of its soft power and economy have a low ceiling that forces the American decision maker to have a lower voice during global crisis. One should remember the Obama administration cancelling a strike on Syria after the Russian threat despite Trump’s decision to bomb a Syrian airport that contains few warplanes using tens of missiles that most of them did not strike the targets. Was it an experiment or a war game between the American missiles and the Russian made antimissile missiles so that each part knows the solid ground that the two giant powers stand confronting each other at a time when a new American president in office to add to their calculations during crises?

In fact the first step in the Great Russian Strategy is to marginalize the American power when Moscow deals with the European affairs. The corned Europe according to the Russian strategy will have only one option is to succumb to the Russian will and arrangements of the old continent that conspired to disintegrate the ex-Soviet Union. Geopolitically the oil and gas is the second determinant to formulate any Europen strategy after the American nuclear warheads that give a balance to both traditional and untraditional Russian military machine.

Other geopolitical scientists, strategists and environmental strategists in Moscow declared that Russia is a superpower or a superpower. Will the game take the form of a cold war or the fifth generation environmental war is hard to be predicted. However traditional war will not be used but the several other generations from second the civil, third the terrorism, fourth the information and fifth the environmental warfare are highly to be used.
