The problem with voting.

 Heard a story today, kinda distressing one but one that describes what some people have to deal with, People that are ignored until the ultimate sacrifice is decided by that person and politicians all come out with their fake shock and dismay. Come on, the only time you hear about a story like this is when it touches the heart and peoples emotions and it brings in the viewers. A guy couldn’t afford to rent out housing or a room so settled for a caravan. Bought a dog to keep him company. Time to pay the rent he couldn’t afford it. Landlord trashed the caravan and actions lead to the dog being killed, in part thanks to the landlord scaring it into the path of a car, exactly what the landlord wanted. The guy, now in a depression, still has no choice but to keep living in the same caravan, had to be lent money to get the dog cremated so that he could keep his ashes, fearing otherwise he may do something stupid. But what he says is what many of us think, and see, in Cornwall. Thousands of houses built every year but yet they aren’t built for us native Cornish. We’re ignored, plain and simple. We’re told for whatever reasons that we need housing but we’re still being ignored because the housing doesn’t solve the problems its meant to. Its ok blaming the politicians but then it hits home- who put the politicians there and who lets them get away with it? Problems haven’t just popped up overnight, they’ve been building for years, yet politicians talk their way out of them. Most of the time they just ignore questions about the problems or blame someone else, blaming some opposite party is the most popular because then the politician can continue to ignore the problem “as its not his fault” or its not his problem. We can’t blame the politics for doing what it always does- we have to blame ourselves.

We’re the ones that put people in power, we vote for them, yet we complain to each other but not the people involved. No we just talk and complain, while the silent majority suffer. Stupid really. If people want change they have to vote for something, someone, different. You keep voting for the same thing, the same people, its not the politicians at fault. Its you. I’ve had it with wanting change, its clear people don’t want it, no matter how much they say they do. Its simple- either you act or you shut up, if you refuse to act and either hold those responible responsible or vote for someone different, then your brain ain’t matching what your mouth is saying, which kinda makes you the same as them. Simple answer.
