NBC Really Screwed up (Again!), Issues Big Correction: Michael Cohen Was Not Wiretapped, President Not Overheard

Look on the face of Tom Winter is precious.

I guess the wishful thinking over at NBC got the better of them.

It should be noted that this is the same network that still employs Brian Williams and Joy Reid.

NBC News announced a major correction to a report out Thursday. The original report claimed that federal investigators had wiretapped Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s phone calls. The correction stated that sources told NBC News investigators were monitoring the calls, but not actually listening to their contents.

NBC News reporter Tom Winter appeared on Meet The Press to announce the correction with anchor Chuck Todd.

Whoops! NBC just continues it’s decline.

This mistake surprises absolutely no one of course.
