Lost In Translation

The history of humanity has always been written in blood spilled by man. The ravages that man continues to do has kept the world from binding the wounds that have been inflicted for the thousands of years of mankind’s existence. The tempests that are now occurring around the globe continue to manifest man’s inhumanity to man.

The leaders of nations still are failing in reigning in the violence that continues to ravage society. The inner turmoil within not only in the United States but through-out the world shed light on what nations continue to do to each other. The conflict in Ukraine that should never have evolved to the saturation point of lives and livelihoods lost to the Mid-East war have further spurred more international trigger points. 

The concept of peace and goodwill toward all has been lost in translation for thousands of years. There have been so few leaders in history that have actually engaged many to not only understand but practice the very concept of peace and goodwill toward all. And yet those few who are swayed by a darker side of existence have continued to mount an aggressive more threatening dominance that has erupted into what we are witnessing today all around the world.

Lost in translation the meaning of this season. It is a very sad commentary that not only in the 21st century but in the Holiday season mankind’s influence is being thwarted by leaders whose misshaped ideologies have brought about a global quagmire. A quagmire that so many can’t understand. From Global Warming to the hot beds of violence erupting around the world we still have where leaders of nations who still can’t grasp what is lost in translation.

It should be not only in this time of year but though-out every season of every year where those misshaped ideologies that have denied humanity it’s God given right have always been lost in translation. Now as this Holiday season unfolds, we should always remember that line in the Christmas Carol “humanity is mankind business.” Peace, fellowship and good will toward all should never be lost in translation ever again.

Let this New Year bring about what is lost in translation be restored. Restored so that peace on earth and goodwill toward all become the reality mankind is so hopeful for. It can be achieved but only when we have leaders and society come together in fully understanding what is lost in translation now has placed humanity on such a perilous path toward repeating the mistakes that history is supposed to teach us.
