I guess you could interpret the burning bush as being the bowl of Gods bong pipe, but it’s a stretch.

With marijuana I don’t think it causes most people to defile themselves like alcohol seems to even when consumed in massive doses. As intoxicants go I think it’s an exception and if or where legal would probably be acceptable in Christianity at least going by it’s own rules. Plus we literally have an entire bodily system designed for it’s use, called the endocannabinoid system. It treats pain without addiction, cancer without nasty chemo side effects and depression without turning people into mass murdering lunatics. I think it was literally put here by our creator for our use, but I don’t expect the modern church to accept that in this day and age. It seems like every pure and good thing is fought against in this world, and nothing has been more fought against than marijuana with the possible exception of unborn babies. After a bad experience with SSRI’s in which due to the SSRI’s side effects I became temporarily psychopathic, permanently psychotic and lost everything over night. Marijuana is bringing me back and had I had access to it before I would still have a career, friends, home, sanity and zero legal problems. So I know from experience the drugs we are being prescribed can be far more dangerous than this one. Our creator often uses metaphor to speak to his people and with the one marijuana plant I grew it began with 5 leaves and developed into 7 near the end. So you tell me what the significance of the numbers 5 and 7 are in scripture. To me it appeared to be a metaphor for this is a gift for man from your creator, but then I was psychotic at the time and tended to find hidden meaning in everything whether it existed or not.
