It depicts the plight of the French peasantry prior to the Revolution and the retribution inflicted upon the aristocracy by the peasants once the Revolution took hold.
To some extent, we saw an extraordinary ‘tale of two cities’ last week in the United States. The first event took place in Detroit when the inevitable bankruptcy of the once great city became a reality. Despite challenges to the filing, it appears that there is no other option. Creditors, retirees and bond holders will be among the many who will be severely impacted.

The economic policy of this country, has largely been a conservative Republican plan to reduce Union influence and lower wages by making it profitable to ship jobs overseas, decimating the tax base of Detroit. Sure the city was indeed run by Democrats who did not know how to do their jobs honestly, but compared to the damage done by Washington DC, it’s a shaving cut compared to dagger in the throat. Go ahead and blame unions if it makes you sleep better, but I do wonder how you feel about working for low wages, no overtime rights, health care and a pension plan that could disappear at any time.

How is this news????
Can anyone tell me of a City, Town, Subdivision, Village, Apartment complex, Country or anywhere that was developed or taken over by blacks or has a majority of blacks in the population, in all the known history of man kind, that everyone wanted to move to, live in, and raise a family? What does any black family do when they get money? Move as fast as they can to a white Country, City, Town, Subdivision, Village, or Apartment Complex. Why? Because Blacks know better than anyone else just what is going to happen once other blacks know they have nice stuff and money. Every place left to blacks degenerates, the only reason our demcraticly run welfare state city are even surviving is because our government steals money through the threat of force calling it taxation and dumps it down the drain with the utopia ideology that one day blacks will actually take care of themselves.

Detroit is a prime example of “socialism works until you run out of other people’s money to spend”. Same with Chicago, NYC, Cantafordia ( California) and on and on… I lived near Detroit for 4 years.. My sister’s family there for over 20. The Detroit City Council and Mayor were a joke and corrupt but nobody cared as long as they could stay attached to that moneymammory. It is not just the corrupt people on top.. it happens because of all the corrupt citizens that put personal gain over doing what is right. This is expeciallly true of the Auto unions and probably all of the public unions.
