Microsoft is set to announce a major leadership and business unit shakeup this week, All Things D reported on Tuesday.
The restructuring orchestrated by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer would result in the creation of a “new cloud computing and business-focused products unit” and a new division encompassing all Microsoft hardware devices, “from Surface tablet to Xbox game player,” as well as the company’s music and TV services, according to All Things D’s Kara Swisher. first off, once again this site has ANOTHER misleading titled article. secondly, with all the information about how intrusive, unsecured, bloated and blatantly provides access to personal files of anyone using windows at the whim of the government, WTF DO PEOPLE STILL USE THEIR PRODUCTS?
linux is a rock solid, secure and ultra-fast OS that given the distribution can be just as easy to use and in some cases easier than windows. linux users and advocates need to spread this info and help EVERYONE not using linux to migrate. i will say that certain linux communities (ARCHLINUX.ORG) are very hostile to newcomers so beware and ill admit that i think linux should work to become as user-friendly as possible in order to provide a true open-source alternative to windows.
