The government has two systems working together. The old order and the new order. As the new order becomes stable the old order is growing weaker. At some point they will shut down the old world order with all of its county segregation. Detroit was functioning in the old order. It is the first to collapse.
Gold may be the common denominator or it may be a dead hand. When the switch is pulled the US dollar and every other countries currency may become worthless. Or they might buy your money but I have yet to see a document to support that idea.
If your betting on gold you better make sure it is not paper gold but real metal that is not stored in a bank.
