In this 30 minute interview Jason Burack of Wall St for Main St interviews economic and financial commentator, former radio show host, author and newsletter writer, Charles Goyette. Charles also does a weekly podcast with Ron Paul.
Charles has been one of the leaders in the Austro-Libertarian movement for decades.

During the interview, Jason asks Charles why the US Dollar has held up pretty strongly relative to other fiat currencies like the Japanese Yen, Brazilian Real, Indian Rupee, etc.
Charles talks about where the inflation has gone and then starts to talk about what is happening to people on Main St, USA in terms of losing their economic freedoms, losing their rights, etc.
Finally Jason asks Charles about Rand Paul’s chances in 2016, if there’s really any difference between either political party and how has Keynesian Economics managed to endure despite catastrophic failures during the Great Depression of 1929 and the 70s stagflation.

I agree with most of it, but it fails to point where the real USA debt is coming from:
huge military and defense spending. USA is nowhere near being a welfare state, that is a lie there, since USA was only once a generous country for its population during the new deal period. The rest of the time was just a filthy rich people clique pillaging the poor hard American workers.
Please make sense here.
The problem started when they outsourced manufacturing to slave countries.
Now, they continued to put more people into huge debts so to plunge us into consumerism. Buy more scrap like US built cars or Microsoft made software and you will be happy.
Then, action movies to brainwash the US people to be believe that they live in the best world. Brave new world combined with 1984 in subtle manner but we see that USA has jailed the largest proportion of a country’s population.
Time to turn the world into something similar to Star Treck and this means to implement a system looking like the Scandinavian one. A subtle mix of various approaches: liberal right at times, conservative right at times, liberal left at times and conservative left a others.
Lets not only talk omeny since good governance means managing the people so they live happily in a way which allows everyone on this bloody planet to live well. This also means “Small is beautiful” and “be wise and take the fast trains to work instead”.
The American dream is based on individualism and has turned into the American Nightmare for almost everyone, except a few billionaires.
Can the media be honest about it ? Surely not the private owned ones ? Perhaps just a few in France, Germany and the UK. Surely not US TV.
It’s a classic ‘we want you to know, but we can’t tell you EVERYTHING’ type of video. And that’s what all of this is, all of the conspiracy theories resources, you can only know what they want you to know still. Even whistle blowers aren’t 100% honest. Nobody gives exact names, no one points out anyone to be stopped or dealt with. Sure, people know names, people know exact locations of events, maybe even some events we’re unaware of, but they make so much of a fuss about what they want us to know, we don’t pay attention to what we don’t know.
I say screw it all, live your life, stop following these rules, stop using money, stop working for the government and big businesses.
