The Weekend vigilante December 21, 2013

Hello from Acapulco Bay,

Happy solstice to all… where the days either get longer or shorter whether you are in the southern or northern regions of this blue ball.

As for me, in the tropics in Acapulco, there is no noticable change… ever.  It is 86F/30C, mas o menos, and sunny nearly every single day of the year.

Alas, I won’t be hear for long.  I will celebrate Festivus with my family on Christmas day and we will be having a little party with friends and family that day as per the Mexican tradition of using any excuse to fiesta.  The plans have been in the works for over a month… again, as per normal culture here.  Every birthday… and I mean every birthday must be celebrated with at least a month of planning involved.  Christmas and every other holiday of its type is the same.  The pinatas are already hung from the palm trees with care I noticed this week as I sat in our pool for my daily 30-60 minutes of vitamin D on my “lunch break”.

But, as I said above, unfortunately I won’t be here for too much longer.  I had been telling many of my friends, staff and associates that I was going to take a “holiday” between Christmas and New Years.  Since I live in paradise it doesn’t make any sense to actually leave it and go somewhere else so by holiday I mean “work less”.  I had plans to have some downtime, relax and even ideas in my head about doing some yoga and meditating and preparing for a big year to come.

So much for that.  I awoke a few days ago and had three emails in a row waiting for me.  The first was an email from John McAfee of McAfee antivirus fame.  He emailed to let me know that he was aware of my work and said that he is 100% an anarchist/voluntarist.  This was great news!  We have just finished our 100th episode of Anarchast, trying to spread the message of peace, love and anarchy to the world and I had it set in my mind to make the next 100 epic.  We have been in contact with people like Woody Harrelson and other celebrities and figure this will be the next stage in spreading the message to the masses.

John McAfee is somewhat of a cult icon after making millions and selling his company and then going on an amazingly colorful, widely publicized series of adventures where he was apparently framed for murder in Belize and, much like myself in St. Kitts under similar circumstances (though not murder!), escaped into Guatemala and was there as a political refugee.

The guy is colorful to say the least.  This may be one of the funniest videos i have ever seen, in fact, where he tells people how to uninstall the software program that he initially developed because the people who purchased the company have screwed it up so bad.

I thought of myself as a somewhat interesting man of the world.  I’ve sunk sailboats in El Salvador, escaped from jail in St. Kitts, built hundred million dollar companies, made movies with Jackie Chan in China…

But John McAfee puts me to shame!

So when I saw an email from him asking to meet in a secret location and do an Anarchast video on December 28th I knew I had to just do it.

The second email I read that day was from Russia Today (RT), my favorite television news channel (I had just appeared last week on RT with Max Keiser from Mexico City) asking me to co-host their New Year’s Eve special (which will actually be a Moscow time special at 3pm in New York City).

If you’ve watched Russia Today and seen most of their female hosts you could understand why being invited to celebrate, on air with them, for New Year’s caught my interest.  I accepted their offer and will be in New York for New Year’s.

The funniest part of all this was that most husband’s would be very worried telling their wife (especially a Mexican wife who loves fiestas) that they won’t be with them on an important holiday like New Year’s but instead will be with a number of beautiful Russian girls.  But I already knew what her response was going to be.  I told her the “bad” news and she commenced to smile from ear to ear and did a little dance… celebrating for minutes.  By the end of it I mentioned, “You don’t have to act so excited!”

The reason she was excited, though, is because we have spent the last five New Year´s Eve´s together and I always ruin the party for her.  I just really don’t like going out and celebrating on New Year’s Eve.  I call it amateur night.  It is the night when every normal person goes out and drinks too much.  They wait all year for this one celebration and usually get really drunk… and because they don’t normally drink much or at all they are usually all getting sick or acting like idiots.  On top of that, every single restaurant or bar is unbelievably crowded and costs three times more than normal for this horrible experience!  Back in the old days when I used to go out almost every night I would actually take New Year’s as my night off because I just couldn’t stand it.

My wife, on the other hand, being full of latino blood, wants to party, party, party until 10am!  Usually by 1am I am so irritated by the overpriced, packed locations and horrible service that I bring the party down and it makes her mad.  She calls me the grinch of New Year’s Eve… and it’s true.  And, believe me, I am not looking forward to being in Times Square for this New Year’s!  I may actually fly out right after the RT event just to not be anywhere near that maddening mob.

But, already my plans to “take it easy over Christmas week” were being blown to smithereens.  What is a smithereen, by the way?  Anyway, unimportant.

The third email I received that day was from Wired magazine who wanted to do a cover story on me… generally about bitcoin and what some of the top bitcoin guys were doing.  They asked me what was the most interesting thing I have been up to that may be good for a cover story.  I told them that I had and was working, quite quietly, on a few countries around the world trying to convince them to private completely and take the country on a stock exchange.

I won’t go into all the details of how that would work but it could result in some poor, tiny country in, say, Africa becoming like Hong Kong in a matter of a few years, enriching everyone involved, including the citizens who would hold shares in the company and, of course, the dictator/president would get a sizable amount of shares and also be not only rich but also famous for taking such a bold move and transforming the country.

They really liked that idea and asked if they could come along on some of my covert trips in which myself and a few other well known people in the liberty movement go and try to convince tyrants and dictators to privatize their country.  So, I put out some feelers to our group and the country of Central African Republic (CAR) came up.

Wired said they wanted to do something in early January for a cover story and so I looked into going to Africa direct from New York in order to get some publicity for this venture we are doing… but it became quickly ridiculous.  There are no flights in to CAR right now, the government is holed up in a hotel and the French foreign legion apparently has them surrounded.  So, if we were going to get in we’d have to fly to a nearby country, take a helicopter to as close as we could get without being shot down and then take a canoe across a river in order to get into a meeting with the current government.

I have many ex-black ops friends and people who consult me on security and they told me it’d need at least $200,000 in security alone to even have a chance of surviving it all.  And, that’s if we are lucky.

So, on that third email I did consider going over to Africa from New York but after speaking with a number of people I likely won’t do that… although we are in talks with other countries on doing something similar.

In any case, my supposed week off to relax, meditate and do Yoga is a no go.  No rest for the wicked.  Maybe next year.

2014… LOOKS BUSY

All in all it looks like 2014 will be a wild year for this vigilante.  The amount of exposure we are getting is starting to go off the charts.

Last week, Glenn Beck apparently lead off his monologue on The Blaze talking about me (I don’t know because I don’t watch TV but someone sent me this).

RT asked me to co-host their New Year´s special as I mentioned above… and I’ve been inundated with interview requests and offers to speak at conferences worldwide (and my conference schedule is already filling up for early next year… and I’ve turned down 90% of them just due to my scheduling and time/work commitments).

And, of course, we’ll be hosting our first ever conference, the TDV Wealth Management Crisis Conference (click here to learn more) in early February in Panama as announced yesterday.  Being our first conference we’ve ever held we had no idea of what the demand would be… although we knew in general from our clients at TDV Wealth Management that there was certainly some demand.  But the response has surprised all of us.  Our entire team was swamped today trying to handle the amount of registrees and those enquiring about the conference.  Based on this it likely will be sold out very soon… but if you are an American or Canadian with more than $1-2 million in assets and are looking in finding out how to structure them internationally in a safe, secure and nearly indestructable structure that has major tax benefits and legally sets up your assets internationally in such a way so as not to be affected by FATCA or any other US legislation then I suggest you contact us quickly if you’d like to attend.

It will be a 5-star event from top to bottom and we have all our top internationalization experts from TDV Wealth Management there (as well as Chris Martin of TDV Passports) and able to privately consult with all attendees on a road map to secure their assets for not only themselves but their family for generations to come.  And, if they want to begin to move forward that can also be started right at the conference.  This, simply, is not info you will ever get from 99.9% of government registered financial advisors in North America… they not only aren’t aware of the real risk to your capital but simply were never taught nor told, nor have any experience in internationalization of assets.  Even if you don’t meet the requirements to attend, if you know someone who does (like, perhaps, your parents who are still fairly blind to the real risk to their capital in the coming years) then please pass along our conference website and hopefully we can help them truly understand the risks they are exposed to and help them, if they so choose, to negate those risks.

That and literally dozens of other things I am working on makes me now realize that I won’t be slowing down any time soon.  But, this is an incredibly critical time for humanity and I would like to see as many as possible survive… and prosper during the transition period and The End Of The Monetary System As We Know It (TEOTMSAWKI).

HAPPY FESTIVUS

But, I will try to take time off on Christmas day and enjoy with friends and family.  That’s fairly normal for this passionate anarcho-capitalist… one or two days off per year.

I would like to wish you all a Happy Festivus, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays… or whatever you personally call it.  And I would like to thank each and every one who has supported us or just followed our writings and message.  All of us at TDV appreciate you being a part of our experience and we hope you enjoy us being a part of your experience.

If you, unlike me, are able… rest up next week, reflect and prepare.  2014 is going to be a doozy!
