Facebook is testing Bitcoin
World’s biggest social network Facebook has started testing capabilities pay of Bitcoin for advertising on their site. About it writes portal Bitcoin Board. This image below was sent to them by a employee of Facebook Netherlands in Amsterdam, who is currently participating in the test.
As you can see, it displays the option to pay with Bitcoin on the Facebook Ads payment setup page. Facebook advertising can be used to get more likes to your Facebook posts & pages. It is used daily by millions of businesses & individuals over the world.
Facebook is holding this test with all their branches. It is not yet clear when the option to pay with Bitcoins becomes available for the public, but this confirms that they are at least very interested in this virtual currency. Last year a former Facebook executive even called Bitcoin a «Gold 2.0» in an interview.
