(N.Morgan) I had been seeing stories from mid-west papers about people running out of gas, to keep their homes warm. This could mean big trouble for those without central heating. As the title of this article implies, it could mean FEMA camps, aka warming shelters. Another way we are being driven into slavery, to this regime.

Natural gas prices spiked to a three-and-a-half year high on Friday as a surge in demand for the heating fuel has led to concerns about whether there will be ample supplies to last through this winter.

NYMEX natural gas futures for February delivery rose 7 percent to top $5.09 per million BTUs, the highest price for a front-month contract since June 2010. Natural gas futures have now rallied more than 5 percent in each of the past three trading days and have gained nearly 20 percent so far this year. Meanwhile, cash prices for natural gas in the Northeast hit record levels this week—topping $135 in the New York and New Jersey area due to pipeline issues.
